  2. To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last. Date: 2009-03-23, 3:43 A M EST. I was the guy with the black Burberry jacket that you demanded I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I hope you somehow come across this message.

I'd like to apologize. I didn't expect you to crap in your pants when I

drew my pistol after you took my jacket. It was not cold, but I was wearing

the jacket for a reason that evening. My girlfriend had just bought me that

Kimber Model 1911 .45 A CP pistol for Christmas, and we picked up a shoulder holster for it that evening. It's a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn't it? I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse since you left your shoes, cellphone, and wallet with me. I didn't want your buddies to come help you try to mug us again.

I called your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell,

and explained your situation. I bought myself and four other people in the

gas station a tank full of gas on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to a homeless guy over by Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with the cash in your wallet. I threw the wallet in a pink "pimp mobile" parked at the curb after I broke the windshield and side window out and keyed the driver side.

I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell

just shut down the line, and I've only had the phone for a little over a day

now, so I don't know what's going on with that. I got in two threatening

phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI with it. The FBI guy was

really pissed and we had a long chat (I guess while he traced the number).

I'd like to apologize for not killing you, and instead making you walk back

home humiliated. I hope you'll reconsider your choice of path in life. Next

time you might not be so lucky. - Alex P.S. Remember this motto...an armed

    society is a polite society!

I've read some posts (groomers) that talk about how many moose you see on Gaspe. I really hope to make a trip to ride there next year. Your pictures only fuel that fire more, Thank you :drinks:

  7. hi bob !!

im not sure ,maybe i should ask smclelan ,i think it s between 21 and 23 ,000 ft !!! ha !! ha !!! we had to hurry up ,beers was freezing on the way up !! ha !! ha !!

seriously ,it s 830 meters .at the beginning the wooden part is going up hill ,95 % of the time i guess ,then once over the trees line ,part of it was off-camber for a while ,then flat ,but going up hill.

because we were nt too much in shape ,we took 3 hrs if i remember well to go up there ,average is 2 hrs.

in the wooden part there was a few steep hills ,but not for long.

winter time i don t do much ,i m always seated in the groomer ,at the computer ,in my truck or on the couch.it has been a little rough at the beginning in the wooden part ,but after a while it was nt too bad.not too rough for the legs even if i was nt in great shape .

there s nice mountains in the gaspesie park with nice view or scenery.

    groomer !!!

    LOL 3hr hike........I think you mean 3 / 12 pack hike. hahaha

I remember that post and picture of your climb with smclean, What is the elevation ?. It looked like a hard trail. I do a little hiking but nothing as nice as those views you have.

  9. Be careful, Had this encounter just a couple weeks ago.

And the best part is that look on there face's "What are you doing on our trail"

groomer, I hope no one reads just the end of your post...... "back in 04 ,there was 2 females always together at my camp.one of them was nt too shy .it happened 4 x ,she was putting her head completly inside the cab of my truck .i had nt my camera at that time .just too bad ." :yahoo::lol:

  10. Bob:

Thank you for the well wishes...The pink cast was only on for a week, my daughter had her 7th B-day last week so I did that 4 her...Got a blue one put on Wednesday. I am done for the winter but it could always be worse.

I will live the rest of the winter thru Groomeer's posts & pictures. They are the best. Thanks Groomer...

    :db:

I had a cast on my arm a while back, I explained to my 5 y/0 daughter that she could draw on it with a marker :yahoo:

So she got her marker then twisted my arm  til she found the right spot for her art. At least it was funny to her.

Phil, I'm here in VA just outside of Wash. D.C. and Groomers posts & pictures help me forget that I'm 7 hrs. away from my sleds. :good:

Hope you get back up and running soon Phil.
