  1. Thanks for the info!! Will you be open between Christmas and New Years this winter? Last year we had to call a number at the hotel and then the owner came down and gave us gas thank goodness! Then we took off for Central in Parent and spent the night. Trails were outstanding for so early.

we will be opened as for we live here so we are always there. so between xmas and new years we will be faithfully atwaiting all of our sleeding friends and waiting for more snow. the last batch melted but we've been getting below 0 degrees and have an acul. of 3 inches of the white gold.... Have been trying out some news things in the kitchen can't wait to feed you all..oh and a couple of beers also :drinks::drinks: . we'll also have more space for your sleeds in the shed, and we've made it easier to get in and out. I will keep you all posted regarding the lepine road and this year will also be able to update you properly on the trails east of clova towards latuque and southbound towards mont laurier. So far no logging or bridge repairs annonced for 11-12 season so the lepine should be wicked for all you maniaccccssss :yahoo:, And I promise that as soon as the trails are safe for you sleeders that have estreme machines that don't need groomed trails i'll let you know where and when in our area you can pass. DO BE SAFE, DO HAVE FUN, HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN. :friends:

  2. :clapping: hey, ho, just to let you all know this is the first snowfall that has stayed overnight, we have 2inches on the ground this morning and it looks great... i also want to take this opp. to wish you all a great and safe season... hope to see you all in clova.. :drinks: snow white
  3. JUST A FAST SHOUT OUT ALL YOU SLEEDERS, THERE IS STILL LOTS OF SNOW UP HERE IN THE GREAT WHITE NORTH OF CLOVA. HAD SOME GUYS UP HERE ON WEDNESDAY AND THEY CAME UP THE LEPINE TRAIL, CROSSED OVER AT THE CLUB GATINEAU AND THEY SAID THE TRAIL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. THEY WERE ACTUALLY REALLY SURPRISED, AND I ALSO HAVE WORD THAT THE TRAIL FROM PARENT TO CLOVA IS ALSO GREAT, SO I HOPE TO SEE YOU OUR WAY WE ARE HERE AT ALL TIMES AND READY TO SHARE SOME GOOD TIMES. IN THE MEAN TIME HOPE EVERYONE HAS A NICE SUMMER AND SHOULD YOU BE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO QUAD COME ON UP OUR WAY :drinks:

  4. I am really upset that you were unable to get a quick and proper response from e-vac, let me tell you that it is a major concern for all of us here in clova and that we are presently working on being able to offer all of our visitors and residents as much medical help and service that is possible without being a doctor or nurse. My husband has joined the town concel and will be in charge of health and security for clova. His first priority will be to get some 1st responders trained in the village, then will will work on getting some first aid training. The responder course is 60 hrs, and an additional course is given for 1st reponders that will be alound to transport injured sleder, vvters and all other medical needs victims. We also have a evac sled here so we are working on getting some signs on the trails to be able to find us. we are really working hard at this should you have any helpful comments that we can pass on to the town of Latuque ( responsible for approving our project ) please send them to us and we surely pass them on to proper people it might help us all the training we need to help all future visitors to clova.

    thanks

  5. ok just to let all of you know out there that the lepine trail does have a bit of a side trail, 10 km. however rob was out there 2 days ago and doozered the trail all the way to club gatineau. The trail is great, however a km 35 there is a side trail because of the bridge being repaired and the deviations returns to the trail at about km45 so not tooooo bad, and for those of you that have taken the lepine trail you know its well worth it.

the lepine trail is not a federated trail so go and have some fun.

    snow white B)

  6. Hey guys and girls,

just spoke to rob (skidoodeur guy) and he just got back from doing the lepine trail or the sentier du draveur and he did a bypass to get over the bridge being repared. At about km 35 the trail deviates towards the right for about 10 kms and rejoines the trail at km 45+- so that you can enjoy the rest of the journee. Because lets face it when you've taken the lepine trail its hard to beat. So you can count on a great trail all the way to club gatineau.

    snowwhite :clapping:

the new trail are groomed by 3 ski-dozers (pourvoirie Martin,Patate du gouin and escapade)

if you chose the first loop it's about 230km clova to clova by patate du gouin

and the other loop by clova -odbejiwan -barrage gouin -parent and back to clova i'ts about 450km

and the trail are nice...words from the american that stayed last night at the hotel

more snow would be better, but we probably have the best condition in quebec.
