The warranty for sleds purchased in the US with respect to coverage in Canada is I believe the same for all brands: NO COVERAGE. BRP is the exception which has coverage within North America.
So beware, even the extended policies offered by some manufacturers don't cover outside the US which in my opinion IS RIDICULOUS considering the amount of technology (things can go really wrong) and the prices we pay for these things.
I believe my Polaris is covered in Canada. But if you are Canadian and buy a sled in the US and bring it back to Canada the warranty is void.

those spindles look like a weak link.too much leverage if you catch something with one.

We payed 1.50 at one stop on the way to parent and I think 1.45 at the cabanon last week.
Most other places were in the 1.30-1.40 range.... about $300.00 canadian for 860 miles averaging 15 mpg That works out to about $.35 per mile :shok:
But it sure beats walking!

Interested in continuing user input on features that make up the ideal snowmobile gear. This edition..........bibs. Your opinions on the following would be appreciated and may well find there way into the next generation of snowmobile gear. Vortex is definetly listening, let's take advantage of our opportunity to have input.
Bib or pant design?
length of side leg zipper?
Ventilation features?
Ideal strom flap design, snap, velcro, wind proof zipper without storm flap?
Pocket locations?
Separate liner or a fixed amount of insulation?
You XXL guys, is it the gut size or the leg length that you seek. Would an XXL short model have it's place in the market?
Your input on past topics has been valuable, please share your thoughts again.
Bibs
Full length zipper
Non vent....full length zipper can be opened from the top.
wind proof zipper/no storm flap
inside chest pockets, outside just above the belt pockets.
fixed insulation
XXL/XXXL normal length 32"-33"...not so long I walk on the heels.
knee pads not necessary.

How does one town have so many talented people.
Is it a rule that to live there you must first pass an ice sculpting test??
I've been thru there many times in the past 30 years and it still never ceases to amaze me.

Another member, Actionjack, rode that area leaving from the US side. Here is the link to the topic: http://www.quebecrider.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1707
I think the conditions are the best they have been in about 3 years(?)

HA! Thats funny. Actually I only have the chance to ride Quebec 1 time this year! So I tried to make the most of it. The wife followed behind every mile also! I did kiss the old girl goodbye at the end of the week, she will be traded in a couple of weeks! Oh, I'm trading the sled not the wife!
The new Polaris Adventure seems like it is right up your alley.
Let us know what they found with your "old"sled.

Just wondering how the trails are this year in the eastern townships.

Welcome to QuebecRider. If you ride in Quebec, you'll love this site.

I have been praying to the snow gods like everybody else.
I told them that we need some help because we haven't had much snow this year and could really use a good foot or so.
Well. They finally answered my prayers. :D
CT and MA have 1 - 2 feet of snow!!!
I forgot to tell the snow gods I wanted it dropped in Quebec!
Jack
Oh,so your the one to blame. Don't forget Quebec next time
