  1. Rode from ste foy all the way up 3 to sacre acoure, last 40 miles before ferry the trails is 1 sled wide and all brush, do not think it will be open this year, needs ALOT of work, we made it with assistance of gps, many go arounds around wash outs

  2. CS I have not run from tad to st simeon yet, will be doing on saturday, will take a look and see what it looks like.

    RR

RR, If you plan on going up 3 the whole way be prepared, trail is all brush, and i mean ALL brush, that was last friday anyways, no groomer and dont see it being groomed this year, alot of washouts and needed repairs

  3. We get the technique down but the sled will not start.
It was me standing next to you watching the technique, it looked painful in the cold. My etec barely started then also, but I also had a pull start installed at the beginning of the season. It was nice ot meet you even if it was a short visit.
  4. Thanks Bobler, A few questions on your reply.

What specific purpose pockets and in what locations are of the most function for you? chest pockets on both sides inside and out with big zipper grips, pockets on sleeves on forarms

Do you (would you) wear the liner as a separate apres snowmobile item? I don't personally like zip out liners, I like middle weight insulation with ability to layerWhat are your thoughts on a non bulky floatation assistance feature? flotation to me means nothing, but distinctive reflective piping does

I agree with the longer rear tail feature as it really seems to make a nice wind seal.

    Please keep the comments coming.

  5. What I look for in order in a good jacket

1-collar, the way it interacts with helmet, ability to seal up neck and not interfere with movement

    2-wind proof and water resistant

    3-pocket locations

4-ability to add layers without restricting movement to much

    5-tail length

6-how well it stay down, doesn't ride up

  6. Has any one rode 73 up to lac edouard and then on to 355 to 83? This is also a real nice ride but haven't seen anything posted on it?

Came back down that way sat the 15th, fine until about 30 miles north of new trail trun to letape, groomer was brocken down on trail and 355 had not been groomed even once yet, pretty rough for that 30 miles, then plowed road into lac eduard

  7. Unfortunaly John is the Buttpaste sledder not going but I'll let him know. We normally try to start in St. Foye (around the Quebec airport) and head north to the HI from there but if we have to drive straight to Jonquiere we're prepared to do that. I'll try to post when we get up there.

Thats what I got in mind, drive to st foy, and then trailer to red roof if needed, heading up wed to scout around for rest of group coming thurs
