easyrider Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Yep, first we crashed The Gathering party Saturday night, got to meet some fellow QC riders, Jackstraw, Florida Snowman, eddieskidoo, trailblazer, and tundrafreak, who is an 802 crew member like myself. I always wanted to go to a gathering but never could swing it. Then there it was, right in front of me. A total chance meeting. So Sunday morning armed with some GPS tracks acquired some time ago from Andyman and Towing, some advise from trailblazer, my Quebec native friend Andre, and my little helper Garmin, off we went. Glad it was not cold out. Wind chill could be an issue on a bad day. Very few chances to get cover. The trip to Opitciwan was 50 miles, 49 of it was on water. Since our next stop was Windigo we had to head right back the same way after a quick fill up and a tour de ville. I have a couple of videos I'd like to share, but I may need some help with that.
