Nordic is the place to stay in Chibougamau, they have a heated garage for the sleds. The first time I stayed in Chibougamau was at the Hotel Chib. We couldn't find the trail didn't know it was in the alley so we rode right down main street.Half hour after we arrived so did the police, they told us to stay off the street and they would give us an escourt out of town in the morning. That must have been a Friday or Saturday because we ended up taking a taxi to some barn outside of town where there
