That's what I thought, but i've seen alot hills that look like that, and a buddy rolled his sled down it one year, small world.
My office is in Pittsfield, but we send guys down to Poughkeepsie to do work. (Arnoff Moving or Putnam County Bank, I think one is in Poughkeepsie).

Arnoff is on the 'other' side of Poughkeepsie.
Let me know next time you head down... Or I'll send a message next time I'm in Pittsfield.

I'll be there, I'll also be there this coming weekend. After that it looks like no more lake Wally for me. Pulling the boat back after the gathering and dropping it in the Hudson River for the remainder of the season. Thanks to my brother, I guess 34 years is enough. Looks like Lake George next year!
Where on the Hudson? You might be in my neck of the woods...
I'm out for the weekend. Attending a graduation party on Saturday. Sorry. Maybe next time???

Nice. Definitely looking forward to riding there, along with Glamis... Just need to fine the time...
When are the snakes dorment down there?
The months of January, February and March...

Congratz, Andy. Enjoy your retirement.

They don't welcome my rides there
Thanks for posting. I believe you left off the 8 in your areacode... 518...

Thanks, everyone.
Mike the land event is in Franconia NH July 21
For a single ride, the NH permit isn't cost effective for me. Too far away to justify weekend riding. If the PA conditions were suitable, this could have worked. Not a biggie, just looking into the feasibility.
They float even with out them Gutz, check this out
Oh and one other thing Mike, just keep that sproket in that you used to blow by my me in Duhamel and you'll have no problems hang'n with the guys at Lake Wallenpaupack.
What sprocket? That was Yamaha Power... Nothing special there, just something I've learned from you during the winter rides.

I want to know what you two kids did to cause BOTH computers to be in need of repair?
Was thinking of the same, when I read this post last week.
Nice shots. Need more stories, ride reports... Thanks for sharing the highlights.

Nice rides!

Are you making fun of my grill , come on down and show me what you got that's better . Lol. All are welcome . I always go to Quebec let us show you how do we do it in the states. You might like it. !!! Trailblazer glad I met you. Later buddy.
Don't tempt him, John. He MIGHT build something for the event. I KNOW Trailblazer has connections....
What events do you have for us land folk? I could be tempted to bring my 4 wheeler...Its NY registered and insured for trail use. Believe PA recognizes NY - will look into this. My only concern is that my motocross club is hosting a practice/race that weekend and I'm needed for scoring and computer setup. With your gathering on a Saturday, I might be able to attend.
Oddly enough, I drove by your exit last week on my way to/from Baltimore. Its a fairly long drive to my exit on 84... Sorry for the blurry image.

Hey Mike......how did you reply to the above topic that was in the other thread ("New York city still standing") and post it in this one?
I can explain.... was half asleep...replied to a topic from another computer which required manually logging in...that combined with 5 hours of sleep after working a long day at the track dealing with signups and scoring races...Kids, DON'T try this at home.
Nice pictures, John and JG. Keep em coming!

Ok... now to post this in the RIGHT spot...
You let me know when your in the neighborhood, i'll have a ride put together and i'll through in some turkey too.
Nice! Thank you, JG. Will keep you updated on the schedule.
Well keep me in mind if there is a good ride somewhere...if you have the turkey, I can bring the ham!
Linda
That looks like my kind of neighbourhood!!
Nice trails. Still thinking about that ride and want to go back and explore more...
Thanks, Linda. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Glad your tour was canceled Hparaptor! I would like to ATV, but I think I am going to Quebec to ride.
I don't blame you.... nothing compares. Have something in the works around June with a project near Gatineau and a second project around Thanksgiving in Montreal. Might have 2 Thanksgivings this year. Now I know why I'm fat...
Hi rmk,
Everyone is welcome would be great to meet You !!!!! We just have to confirm the date. I'll keep you posted
CrazySnow !!!!
SWEET!!! Thanks!

I'm up for a day trip. Any ATV trails for a ride? I'm NY trail legal.
Someone told me a 'gathering' is not official without a ride. Luckily, it wasn't on this forum!
John, glad to hear your wife didn't make it to work that day.
I was planning on heading down with a friend to meet one of the engineers for channel 11 and get a tour of the transmitting equipment in the RF room of tower 1. Luckily, the trip was canceled the night before...

How is it the big 'ol US of A don't have food like this .......Ya jus can't beat St.Hub roasted chicken mmm mmm.
Rub it in... I'll have some, soon enough. With luck, there might be a couple in or around Toronto.

I steer clear of the MX now that i'm older, But it is a great course and World Famous! (Groomer and his Brother were there in the 70s and 80s).

Checked out MX338 over the weekend. Nice track. Regret NOT bringing my quad there when they had Open Practices. Didn't get to see much racing, just the lap by lap results...as the riders were scored and entered into the computer.
Despite the number of quads running, its fairly quiet. You couldn't really tell anything was racing from the officials booth near the concession stand.

WOW. I'm speechless. Excellent photographs.
Thank you!!
Please post more!!

Congratz on the new addition!

Wait until you find out what a great resource Doo Talk is..go ahead, Google it.
It is, but I prefer talking to the riders here.

also if you look at the spout on an old one it has part #s and I think the brand is Pasco. Just replace the spout?
let me know if you have an old non-carb one.
GutZ
Gutz, Have the CARB container. Will check the spout for additional information, but for now what I have works.
Thanks for the assistance.

Used to work at the intersection of 199 and 22. Hipotronics. Stan sold the company in 1995 and started another in Copake. Worked there for 5 years until moving to my current employer, which is much closer to my house. Harney tea bought out the Hipotronics building around 2001 and I was fortunate to get a guided tour of the warehouse in exchange of explaining the building configuration.
Haven't ridden in Old Forge/Tugg Hill but have ridden in Tupper lake with coworkers. After a close call with a drunk rider, I stopped riding there. Will see what can be done about hooking up. My employer has a number of projects in Canada, and next time something comes up in the Toronto area, I'll contact you.
