  1. Hi All,

I got a stupid question when you get new spring ordered sled and dealer gets it in. Dose anybody know what they actually do to set it up. I know it's not in a million pices.

Just curious I'm using a new dealer.

    Thanks

    CrazySnow !!!!!

    Posting on Doo-Talk doesn't count! :p

Anyway, I think you get better responses here :good:

  2. Order it online from dealer that can sell them, or eBay?

I'm not saying to not support your local dealer, but one item....

    Later

Thought of this after ordering the can... will do on the next purchase! Thanks for the advice.

I have the cataloge with the bags for next year. Most of them are around $139, even the gas can. I get 20% off my first order with the sled, if anyone wants me to get them bags....pm me.

Once I spend 10 minutes figuring out how to post the pictures in here again...I will post some!

Thanks for the offer. I've standardized on mounting the bag on the seat (2005 vintage) and will consider another style once this falls apart.

  3. Well while we're on the topic, i've been Polaris free myself since 1996 and been CELEBRATING SOBRIATY SINCE.

I think Trailblazer is a closet Polaris rider....

Does this poll include non tracked vehiecles (like ATVs)??

I'm proud to say that I have been Polaris free and will not test positive for any residue.

Came close to owning one, but a good friend stopped me. Bought him a case of Lebatts as a thank you.

  4. I have rode with guys that never even brought a spark plug wrench with them and entirely depend on others to bail them out when in trouble.

Didn't know you needed to change spark plugs on a 4 stroke....

I konw that's what I'm afraid of !!!!! I got 7000 miles on my old 800 and still runs good. You know you can still break down even with a new machine !!!! Been there done that !!!! I guess it's all part of the Game.

The REV platform is good for 10000 miles. Just make sure the header bolts are secure as they tend to loosen and fall off at this point.

Congratz on the new sled purchases!

  5. No pictures? Thought I could count on one of the attendees to photograph the sleds pokewithstick.gif

The etec is a very clean burning motor...doesn't smell hardly at all!! Besides, Crazysnow is going to be so far ahead of you guys on his new 800ETEC you will be lucky to see him never mind smell him! HA!

Yea, right. Skidoo oil is TOXIC vomit2.gif if you ride behind someone burning it long enough... ETec isn't as bad as the older machines. Kind of makes me wonder why I kept my ride for so long...

Maybe John can change his mind...and buy a 4 stroke instead...

  6. Add a little Race fuel and 926 Oil (Bean Blend) to your NOS secondary fuel tank, for the extra injector, and blow by the two strokes smelling like MX338 and still get 10k+ miles out of the engine.

That's all I'm say'n. I want mind bending performance, I just don't want to rebuild every two seasons.

I'm NOT complaining about the smell of the better oils, just the crap Ski-Doo uses in their oils.

Klotz or Maxima Castor oil with VP smells great. Love being around the bikes and quads during races and open practices at my track.

Gutz, I may have an opportunity to work the NEATV-MX race at the end of this month at Southwick. Will have a better idea after this weekend. Any chance you will be in the area?

  7. Hi Mike ,

Nice !!!! Get the sleds ready for next winter it will be here before you know it :yahoo: Going to show to look for a new sled Might go two-stroke again  lol got a love it.

Hello John. NO! Don't get a 2 stroke!

If you decide to, please use Klotz oil. Smells much better and doesn't burn my eyes. Or, you could ride at the end!!

  8. Thanks!

File attachments are cool! Unless you have lots of server space, I'd limit the max file size to 300k. This forces users to keep the image size to 640x480.

This serves 2 purposes. Keeps the site speed up and prevents users from attaching large pictures that scroll off the screen.

I've applied this on the forums I administer
