You may want to trailer to Louvicourt, there north should be good they are calling for "up to" 35cm of snow for there up to Matagami and over to Chib. snow instead of rain. I'll be amazed if Mont Laurier survives this warm up.

Tamarac said the 83 west is open . Conditions are fair right now but should be back to normal this weekend just need a little fresh snow.

I just heard from Carol at Tamarac, she said the 83 section is supposed to open tomorrow 1/8/13 no word on the 93 b/w LSQ and Des.

I am waiting to hear if the 83 is open from Clova to Senneterre also. I sent Tamarac an email to check please.

Sorry to hear that about NE Bob. I never knew why he stopped touring in QC. I can see him standing their in his furry boots and talking in his "hey dude" type voice. In fact he told a member I was with that " your cheating it to much in the corners dude...be careful out there". Always good advice. I got a kick out of him, but never rode with him. Anyone who put on the miles he did is okay by me... What ever became of Old Yellow boots? That guy toured all over the place by himself and of course always had on, yep.....Yellow Boots.

Oh I know I am not brand loyal so to speak I buy what ever interests me. I have been hearing Yamaha may have something new late this season, hopefully a supercharged Apex but I fear they would charge 17 grand for it.
