  1. Lac Taureau (St. Michelle de Saints) to Clova was exactly 315 miles...Trail Conditions on Sunday were excellent but it was definitely a long day..Stayed at Hotel Tamarac in Clova, Alan and "snow white" were wonderful and dinner was great!!! I definitely would recommend a stay there!! Today...Clova to Val D'or trails were incredible with the exception of Clova to Balbuzzard ....Balbuzzard to Val D'or made up for it though!!! Tomorrow we will be doing Val D'or to Rabaska!!! Stay tuned!!!
  2. We just got to Lac Taureau and we are headed to Clova in the AM so tomorrow night I will post trail conditions along the 33....360....345 and the 83....I will also leave the precise mileage and time it took...Today we left Cabannon...to LaGlassiere...to St. Donat to Lac Taureau...Trails were good to excellent...Between St. Donat and Lac Taureau was absolutely incredible!!! I will send a report tomorrow night between Taureau and Clova...
  3. Currently our plan is to leave Lac Taureau early Sunday AM on the 33. We plan to follow the 33 to the 13 and then to the 83. Is this the most efficient and scenic route? Where is the best place on this route to stop for fuel and fuel on the way to Clova. We are all fairly experienced riders...how long a trip will this be...I think the mileage is about 225 correct?
  4. Again, thanks to all for the input....All riders (even my 16 year old son) are experienced, have done extended overnight loops in Gaspe, Lac St. Jean, etc....just never in this area....We are all riding "Fresh" Ski Doo 800's so hopefully all will go smoothly. My biggest issue at the moment is just have a clear understanding as to where to fuel up between St. Z and Clova...between Clova and Val D'Or and between Val D'or and Mount Laurier. Any further input on this would be most appreciated! All my best and many thanks to everyone that has weighed in on this post!!! Very helpful!
  5. I am hoping someone can help! My son and I are planning to leave St. Zenon on Saturday and Head to Valdor. Can any help me map out a 4 day loop beginning in St. Zenon and returning to St. Zenon through Valdor including where to stay in route and returning along with estimated mileages! Unfortunately this is last minute due to Gaspe having no snow! Any help would be truly appeciated! Many thanks,

  8. I am heading up to St. Zenon on Friday. The plan is to leave St. Zenon, head towards Valdor which I understand is approximately 450 miles. Does anyone have a good, (3) or (4) day loop including where to stay between St.Zenon and Valdor and back to St. Zenon? Please let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated. C.
