Hello, I am looking to plan a trip to the gaspe for the last week of March, Will snow/trail conditions be good enough to do the full loop for then as long as there isn’t any major warm ups? Thanks
-
Ended up taking the 355 today and it wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible either. Was better from lac eduard down to La Tuque.

Hello, I am in Alma tonight and will be staying in La Tuque tomorrow. Looking to see what the best route is to get there. Is taking the 355 or taking the trans Quebec around and into La Tuque a better option?
thanks

That is pretty far out, but imo you could do it right now if you wanted to. Ii may not be ideal conditions right now but that can be said for many places, and alot can happen from now until then. If you were leaving today I would say go for it and talk to people you meet on your trip you will for sure come across riders that have recently done that stretch. Not sure how familiar you are with 3 in and around Quebec City but it has alot of road crossings and gets a ton of traffic especially on weekends. Stay away on weekends
Thanks for the heads up, I am still fairly new to Quebec, every trip I make there I try and check a new area out.

Yes, I saw on sledmagazine it looks like a lot of green. Was just wondering if anyone had actually been on it recently

Any updates on this section of trail?

Correct, more like a high end relay
91 fuel at mont apica? And how many miles is it from either st ray or Quebec City to there? Will be a group of all sidewinders, don’t know if we can push more than 120 miles on a tank.

My guess is they were/are a wet mess and riding them will just do lots of damage. East/south of the St Lawrence is very wet and maybe this is the problem there also. If that's the case they should tighten up quickly been very cold again.
Okay, I am thinking of going up there Jan 25-28. Hoping to Loop from Quebec City, up to saguenay, across to Forestville, and back to Quebec City.

I wonder if they are closed due to lack of snow? Or possibly washouts from the warm up?

What are the conditions of the tq3 and tq83 from Quebec City to Sagauenay? Haven’t heard much about these sections of trail this year and I am looking to take this route as I have always just taken the tq23 up
-
Any word on conditions of this stretch of trail?

What are the trail conditions in and around Val-d’or? Thanks
-
Wondering what the deal is with quebectrails website? Seen it hasn’t been updated since October? Is there another site to see detailed trail conditions of the Gaspe?
Thanks

How are the conditions up there now?

Hello, I’ve been posting on here occasionally over the past week about doing a trip between Xmas and New Years but haven’t really been able to decide where the best place to go would be. Originally was thinking St Zenon/ Saint Michel area but have seen a lot of open trails on the south side of the St Lawrence aswell. So where are the best trails within 2 hours of Montreal? Thanks a lot to everyone on here and hope you all had a fun and safe Christmas :)

Would like to avoid going on the TQ23 through L’etape and take the TQ3 and TQ83 around to Saguenay if conditions are good
-
Just wondering if a trip from Quebec City to Saguenay and back will be doable between Xmas and New Years. thanks

Thank use very much for the info, I am gunna be staying at the hotel central right in saint Michel.

Anywhere between 100-200 miles per day depending on conditions/temps.
Are Ontario residents allowed in gaspe

Here where we are from (south of Ottawa) our district is green. Is it that if you don’t live in the gaspe region or quebec as a whole that it’s a no go to get into a restaurant no matter where your from or what level your region is at?
