  1. I really appreciate what u did for me with the snow removal. Very nice of you. We got home at 3PM today
  2. Coming home tomorrow, Sat. We didn't get rain ut got 16" of snow.
  3. Not to my knowledge. I've heard two reasons, one is that it was not an approved FCMQ trail, no grooming money would be allocated and then last night I heard it was because of a concern of moose in the area.
  4. I have no idea why as they have lots of snow, maybe too much.
  5. It has snowed for 24 hours here. Suppose to get 12 to 18 inches before it ends today. Temps to drop as well.
  6. Monday morning a group of 5, from Harrisburg area left the Delta about 9AM. About 9:30 we had a white out snow squall came thru the area. The trails were icy from Saturday night/Sunday rain. These conditions resulted in this accident. Hit a tree. The man between 55 and 60 suffered 3 broken ribs, cuts and badly broken wrist that required surgery Monday night. He was discharged from the hospital last night around 8PM and the group headed towards home. One lucky guy that he only had the injuries that he had.
  7. Good luck with your adventure guys. Looks like you are having a great time.
  8. My friend Bernard went to the scene and bled it out and called people to come get the meat. He told me she was still warm when he got there. She was carrying calf.
  9. Fred I have a Roady 2 XM receiver with a pair of speakers I bought at the Big East show in Syracuse. Works good. Have the Roady 2 at max volume and fine tune with the volume on the speakers.
  10. Friday we went to the truck stop for a great lunch via 93 to 328, back to 93, then took 367 to local trail to St Jeanne de Arc for gas, then 93 to 900 to 902. After a great lunch back on 902, across the Peribonka to 367 to 553 to 23, then 562. Stopped at DRC in Alma as Joe need appointment to have his exhaust valve checked. The 383 to 83 and back to Delta. Total of 215 miles. Most miles I've ridden since my accident. Great trails all day. Saturday we went to Auberge Eva for lunch. Came back by way of St Andre to 23 to 368 to 383. Total of 190 miles. Again trails were great.. Friends came in that had been going to the Gaspe but saw the forecast and high tailed it up here to avoid the big storm. Took to day off, Doctor told me I'd been going hard the past week and needed to rest a day. Went to a brunch for the benefit of the Saguenay Diabetes Foundation. 182 and Ginger left for NJ about 12 noon.
  11. These are pictures from the Snowmobilers Appreciation cocktail 2 hour affair that the Delta put on this past Wednesday evening. Does the hotel you are staying at do this for you? If not you might want to reconsider where you are staying and make a change where you are truly appreciated.
  12. Just another beautiful day here in Paradise today. Started out this morning everything was great til we hit 52 miles. The Red Rocker was no where in sight. Went back 1/4 miles, hood up, not good. Had to call Dannydoo to rescue the Red Rocker. "Dannydoo to the rescue". Back in my day there was song "Jim Dandy to the rescue". We continued on and had lunch at Mont Vilian. Super trails all day.
  13. When we left this morning it was -7F at the hotel. When we got to the potato field it was -14F. Rode 383 o 367 to 134 then onto 93 and back on 367. Took local 482 to 484 to Mont Vilian for lunch. Then took the shortest way back to hotel as todays high temp was -1F. Great trails.
  14. Mark That is very hard to predicted. I've seen it both ways. Bill
  15. Yesterday was a wIld wooly day here. At 1 AM snow and high winds, 30 to 45 mph, moved in. Was suppose to last into late afternoon but about noon time both moved on. Went for a short ride in the afternoon. Fields were drifty and of course bumpy but met two groomers so by today things should be back to normal. -8F now and warming up to 0F.
  16. peaks are very do able. I can help you with loops and the good restaurants.

  21. This morning up until about 2PM was a spitting image of yesterday, cold, -10F up to -2F, blueberry skies and great trails. Then around 2 the clouds came in. Rode down to St Rose of the North, lunch at Tourelle du Fjord and then back to the Delta. St Rose
  22. Now Phil you know better than that. I remember you on a rental 660, non turbo, that you had on the door handles one afternoon. Do you remember or do you want to forget it never happened. Bet BJ was never told about that.
