  1. I just mounted the Powder Keg fuel cell with the bottle for oil ( 137" ) on my GSX SE 800 Etech and I think I'm sold. Bag goes right back on top and a bit more room for a small dry bag ! The fuel cell holds 2.75 Gal and the bottle holds 40oz of oil.

  2. Yes that's the one SMDS.

Never stayed there, however certainly would'nt be my first choice. Lots of other nice places to stay in the area. Real' Masse is not far,Auberge Au de la Chutes is real nice, hot tub, good food and just north of town. Auberge Lac Taureau is fancy place right on Lac Taureau north of town. I'm sure you'll get more people chiming in with other places and opinions ! I'm not a fan of staying right in town.

  3. Thank you smclelan! one more run already done yesterday, 382 miles from home!

Thank you Tom! it's been 4 months today since my first ride this season on groomed trails, and there are still some ahead... an amazing season, hoping for a copy/paste for the next one!!!

    Have a great spring too...

You are welcome vt_blueyamaha54! The overall colder winter since more than 20years weathermen said... Personally we are truly blessed because during the two January rain weekend we were anyway outside the country...can't dream of a better timing!!!

Thanks mikerider! we will get along!

You are welcome mccafrey! very few spring signs till now, but it's were it goes. Many clubs get out of money and close with the month ending... A virtual ride on an hot summer day is refreshing for sure!!!

Than you NSHM! I think the same about the foot print... and the snow!!!

    Thank you guys!!!

As the April month arrive it is still possible to plan a ride but do your homework before and search/phone and check before because some clubs are closing and the trail network begin to break up but with the actual snow cover riding is still possible for sure. Take a look there for condition of my playground

I will try to post you something for my yesterday ride... stay tuned...

    Alain

Thanks for the GREAT reports all season long !! The pics always get the blood flowing winter or summer. Thanks Dave L

  4. Easy. By sled drive around front of the Sheraton 4 points. Look for tracks along the fence . Follow 1000 feet turn right go another 1000 feet bear left up the hill drive to the main entrance and park in the sled parking.

That is correct Sir,I was there 2 days ago. There is no shuttle from 4 points and for some reason when I asked at front desk if you can get there by sled they said yes but did'nt know where the trail was. It was wife and I's first time at 4 points, nice place. The girl at front desk upgraded room to Jr suite so we stayed 2 nights. The hot tub was GREAT, went in AM and PM !

  5. Thanks, nice report. We were out on Gouin with Jean and his son back and forth to Martin last month. That was a wild ride !!We had a bunch of 137"s a Grand Touring and a shorty, it made for an interesting trip.Jean and his son had their work cut out for them but they were on the BALL getting us out of the slush and all the snow !!We had a GREAT time at Barage Gouin for 2 nights. Great food and good people !

  6. Dear Oncoming Riders,

Please just keep your TWO HANDS on your bars, and just stay on your side. Concentrate on keeping right not keeping count.

    Thank You for your Co-operartion.

    ps.

We will Manage just fine without stupid useless Hand Signals.

X2, Please stay right,it could be hours but there is ALWAYS someone coming the other way ! Thank You

  7. Nice Run guys.

Interesting the gas info at Wemo. Something to keep an eye on.

The 355 near Lac Edouard where it makes the hard left, straight is nice but if they are logging there not far down turns into a very sanded road. For sure the logging was shut down for holiday break if they are working there.

Pipemaster I have stayed in the Cabins at Gouin and they are just fine. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

Thanks Iceman,I figured as much. Stayed there a bunch of times, always in the lodge. Great Place and food

  8. Great report and pics. Heading up to Gouin in 2 weeks, thanks for the heads up on East access trail. Did you guys jump on the lake heading into Kanawatta, if so was the trail to the south end of the lake marked in any Way? How was the lunch at Repos ??? Had lunch there last year it was the worst meal I ever had in all of Quebec ! One last thing, how were the cabins at Gouin ?We have reservations for lodge, but I see that can change. Thanks Dave L
