Somewhere I have a Picture (the old kind printed on paper) of his dog sitting on one of our sleds while Yvon is pumping gas in it. Just can not find it.

Those were the days, back then before KM31 when it was not the Zoo it can be now up there in the Zec Valin. He was a super guy and the ladies were very friendly. Way too soon at 72 years young. RIP Yvon.

I went once it was OK. You can surely check out all the sleds, VTT, and SXS, there are some vendors too, also many booths of places to go stay etc. It's been about 3 years since i went. You probably can get some deals but I am purely speculating there. I went once I have never been to the Toronto show or the Syracuse one, i believe they are surely bigger then QC city. Hope it helps.

Talked to a contractor there today. It is gonna be a drug rehab now. Waiting to see the new owner this week to see if i can get the old Safari signs.

Seems like the End. Safari is no more. There has been alot of work going on there, and friday i noticed the Safari sign had been removed. I'm gonna stop there monday to see if I can get the old Safari sign if they still have it. I will also try to find out just what they are gonna do there now. For sure it is not a motel any longer. I'm thinking a retirement home or some kind of shelter for battered women or a rehab of some sort (judging by the name on the new sign) just guessing though.

Guts for true you always seem to find Adventure. Too funny. I can see it clearly. It's scary really to think that some of the fine officers there are the first line of defense for the good ol' US of A. Makes me shake my head in wonder sometimes. Where do they find these guys? Don't get me wrong most are super and know their shit, but the others i have encountered i am certain need help dressing themselves each day. The Canadian side never an issue, always polite and professional. Not rude like when heading south. Been much better going south with my NEXUS card I will say.
