Seems like they wanted to start this trouble so they can have all the snowmobilers for their area and screw the rest of the province cause they do not care. Unreal, two steps forward then three back. we are in trouble.

Nothing good will come of this. Except if you are a tourist from wherever and just want to go to mt. Valin from Quebec city. VERY SELFISH move by that mayor and the clubs involved. I say buy passes from anywhere else but there. We can send a message right to the clubs pockets.

Loud pipes on bikes might save lives for sure.Loud pipes on sleds cost us trails and access. They should be all outlawed and a Minimum $1000 fine for first offense no warnings.I think they would get the message then. Just saying there is no need for that noise. Its stupid. Like hey look at me i'm cool, friggin MORONS.

I hear ya but its there right on that big Lake.
-
How about Cabano.
-
Not sure at all, maybe Tadoussac? By the ferry crossing?
-
The moose is between Alma and Dolbeau but where? He is near the road i can tell you that. Wow I thought this was an easy one. For real, now I am thinking no.
-
Wow sorry totally missed that in there. Now i see it. My bad.
-
What the dates for this??
-
This was in St. Maurice on TQ 3. Between say Safari and Rogers Cabin. I believe its the club montoneige Champlain, not 100% on that. Just a side note also did not see any trail passes on the wreckage, could have been pirates, so not sure on their rights for compensation.
-
I agree 100%there were 2 small detour signs one each side of the stuck drag. Crazy
-
It's not St. Raymond, Ok the first clue is.......... It is on TQ 93, if you have used it to "loop the lake" the moose has seen you. He is right on the trail.
-
How the operator thought it was OK to leave that like that is beyond me. If they couldn't move it then at the very least they should put more warning,
Something besides a small detour sign each side, maybe yellow ribbons at least. Crazy shit.
-
No its not NH moose.
-
The drag was across the trail at an angle. The section of trail is between two road crossings and wide open with a little dip. Right where the groomer was left. I think the machine had trouble tried to turn around but got stuck. Then they unhooked and left the drag right across the trail. There were 2 small detour signs one each side of the stuck drag.
Good one Phil,

The Firecat guy hurt his leg he went in ambulance to hospital. Met the other two guys that morning they came with a Quad to drag the sleds to the road, which was right there. Firecat guy flew no kidding like 15 feet at least and lost his boots. Not kidding. Lucky bunch.

a couple more.......

So these fella's were out riding together, I think maybe too close to each other and a bit fast for the conditions. Oh yeah and the Drag minus the Dozer that was stuck in the trail, you know over that little rise where you just can't know what is there till its way too late. This was late in the season in St. Maurice. On TQ 3. The Firecat was leading followed by the Two Polaris motos.

I will start with an easy one..........

Those off trail riders might have the right idea, this is getting crazy. Excessive trail damage that's a real gem there. What about the guys who every corner feel the need to punch it out and tear the trail to shit. Thats damage. Its clear that the main focus of mr mayor whoever is european tourists ( riding right up the middle of the trail ) and keeping them in his area.If i never rode mt valin again it would not phase me in the least. Yes its beautiful and it gets lots of snow. But there are many other rides that are simply amazing (scorpionbowl knows) as many others here too know.I think it would be awesome if they let the european groups ride only from Quebec to mt valin, then i would be able to avoid that mess for sure.I remember riding to onitchaway when no one knew what that was, those were the good old days. Now every tom, dick and harry is up there and unless its a weekday you need your head examined to ride there, way too many sleds. Old Forge Quebec, aka mt valin.
