Mrs. GT asked me to post the answer. The first time we passed through here this was not an FCMQ trail. It later turned into 43. I have some pics from the other side. Sorry snowmaster I misread the name on your post.

I remember Bill saying the trail was closed. We never got a chance to get up there.
-
Hi Bob, Good guess but that would be more than 100 miles off.

We were trying to hit all orange trails. This van really stuck out. We took a look at the lake. Someone did not want me to go on it to turn around. Crossing the H we passed the van. The upper east side of the H was private homes so we headed south. Then we found the south part of the trail had been closed. So much for bingo.

I have not been there but this might be the place: L'Oasis de la Bretagne I used to plot all the advertisements from the maps.

MRS. GT asked me to post this place. It's on the trail.

Hi Bob You got it. The place is L'Auberge Le Montagnard. The trail used to go right through.

It is Ten Mile Lodge. We passed by in 2016 and the building on the right was gone. We haven't been by since.

This place was gone last time we passed.

Is it Hotel Matagami?

Is it Relais Trappeur south of Lac Edouard.

This picture is on the east side of the Moisie River. There is a steep bank it's on the top.

Hi Steven, You are about 230 miles away as the crow fly's.
-
I know a few have passed here.

We passed by in 2019. It was strange to see it as a private building.

Oops got the wrong quote.

Yes St Michael. MRS GT and I got our start in ST Donat back in 99. We did day trips for a few years until talking to backpackers. Last time we were in this neighborhood the trail was no longer passing here.
