  1. Side by side with 120 volt wiring and lights, track pads, ski runners, 15 inch radial tires. $5400 Call (860)-974-0418.
  2. Made it home safe and sound. Ran into snow through the park and hit some heavy stuff in southern Mass. all the way home. Sig talked to Garneau's and they have a kit to fix the overheating. It consists of a radiator, a shorter exhaust pipe, hoses and harness. Ski-Doo is selling it at cost for $120 but the full retail is upwards of $650. So we will wait and see about conditions up in Jonquiere and getting the cooling kit.
  3. Well folks it was another bad day in paradise, due to our Ski-Doo 1200 GSX's and the junk trails conditions. All day Dad, Sig, and I had overheating issues and duck off into the powder too cool off. When we would have to run through town the temperature would climb right up and you would be overheating by the time we could find some powder. Then it got so bad that dad started pushing coolant out of the overflow. So we turned around 15 miles from the truckstop and headed back with Farmerold who was fine on temperature, but had a hole poked in his overflow jug. So we are loaded up and headed home tomorrow and won't be back until we can get our cooling issues straightened out.
  4. Dad, Sig, and I went up to Jackman Maine and rode Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We put on a total of 501.2 miles and averaged 29.5 miles per hour, and averaged 15 MPG on our GSX 1200's. On Friday we rode up to Canada trails were perfect through Armstrong and it was a great ride. Just a pain in the ass at the border because Dad had to go inside for interrogation because he shares a birthday with a criminal. Other than that all else was good except that the cowboys were out today and killed the trails. We even passed one group drinking beer on the side of the trail. Headed for home tomorrow.
  5. I had a 1997 Polaris Indy Light given to me last week and got it running the other day and buttoned it up tonight and rode a 1.7 mile loop from the garage around the field twice and then down to my house and back to the garage. By then my hands were froze, but for a little 340 fan that little sucker hauls the mail.
  6. Dad and I just got back from a trip up to Jackman, Maine. We left from home on friday at three in the morning and made it up there in about six hours. We hit the trail about 10:30 and rode up to the border, then turned around because we forgot to bring the passports and headed up to Pittston farm for lunch and rode back to town for a 136 mile ride. Then on Saturday we went to the border and crossed into Canada and stopped for coffee at the relay in Armstrong, then we headed up to Beaucéville for lunch and rode back to Jackman for a 150 mile day. It was a nice trip and we are heading back up next Friday.
  7. Everyone up at Jackman Powersports is doing good and they are busy. Sig canceled his sled because he can't ride it this year, he might try again next year. He is doing alright, he had his surgery last week, and is going to physical therapy, but won't be better for the snowmobile season. Right now we are still getting snow, and I'm working on getting our 1989 Ski-Doo Stratos running for bombing around down hear. Hope to see everyone soon, and Merry Christmas.
  8. Dad and I went up to Jackman Powersports on Saturday to pickup his new Ski-Doo Gsx 1200. We left at quarter to three in the morning and had smooth sailing the whole way up. Made it to the dealer at about 9:30 and each of us took a short test drive (we had no gear with us) and in the tenth of a mile I rode it, it is pretty spunky and has a whole lot of get up and go. By the time I got back to the truck I was froze up (baseball hats don't keep the ears warm). We then loaded up took care of business in town and headed for home. We had a good ride home and made it just in time for supper and our naps at 6:30. We are still kicking ourselves for not taking are gear because the trails up in Jackman are open and when we were up there the groomer went out to pack the trails. Oh well we'll probably head up there after Christmas for a little change in scenery, and play it by ear for our Canada trip. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
  9. JohnW, SAScost, and me made it home safe and sound. We left at 1:00 a.m. and was in Woodstock CT by 11 o'clock. It was good weather all the way home and on the back porch its 40 degrees and sunny. See you all next year. Thanks, Ethan.
