NH-Moose
Woke to 6-8" in Pt La Croix.. To lacache perfect with 12+ fresh inches above 1700ft. Lost the little chic chocs trail part way through, not many signs, no sleds since snow and at every intersection (network of logging roads) we had to make decisions when all directions looked the same. Finally gave up. Probably groom it soon the guy at lacache said. Some deep stuff there. Back to lacache and on Matane to for the night. North shore has much less fresh snow, than central/south. 5 into matane a bit rough from traffic but great snow depth. 280 miles today. Trails overall amazing and empty on the pennsula. Stop couch surfing and get up here, there's plenty of snow and most all loops are possible.
