markusvt
Left Friday morning on a 700 mile loop. Woke up to a snow storm, and we rode in snow all day! 30 miles out and one of the 1200's decided to run on 2 cylinders. 6500rpms max and 50 miles per hour. Quick look on the map showed a dealer 30 miles away. We programed it into the GPS and off we went. First tracks on most of it. We arrived at Ty Motors at lunch time. They were very busy, but took us in. In 10 minutes they said the work would take at least 1.5 hours, due to taking the hood, airbox, headlights and stuff off. The head guy took us in his minivan to lunch, and dropped us off and said he would call when it was done. After lunch he picked us up and brought us back, and good news, the sled was done! Pulled pin on the mag side coil connector, he fixed it and replaced the plugs and all was well Cost 0$, and all under warranty. We continued onto RDL, 230 miles. Next day the snow was done, but lots of fresh snow and high winds. Tough going but fun. We stayed in Cabano, we used the GPS to save us a few times. Short day at 180 miles, but fun. Last day was awesome, all the new snow was groomed up nice! Some areas got a foot of new snow! We did a bit on 35, a bit on 55, and a lot on the side trails. Longer day at 280 miles. Total was just under 700 miles. Lots of snow, lots of fun! I will update with link to pictures and video later.
