grumpysanta
It is sad to see all the trails being closed for this year . This is a list of a few........ trail 43 to st. adolfe de howard to st agathe closed . so your only choice is to take 43 aways and turn off for st jovite or brebouf . no sleds to st. adolfe and tickets are given out if you run the road . 43 west to Weir is still closed this year at 16 island lake . so it is a long way around to Duhamel . the little local trail that ran from 43 to Relais des pins is closed , lossed right of way . the trail crossing from hudson , rigaud to st. placide is closed for at least this year also right of way cancelled ( temporary. )
TDI-HAM
The trail from St Placide up towards Lachute was opened on Saturday- For those who know "Guy" the dozer operator, he left 3:00 am Saturday from Lachute to head down and open the trail. Didn't get back, until 9:00 at night- That's an 18 hour day all on a volunteers salary. The right of passage dispute was settled hence the opening. All we need now is more snow. What trail closures are there in Hudson - Rigaud?
patg85
I would like to add to your list of closures: Trail 33 north of Saint Sophie is a dead end at Lac Achigan, loss of right away. Trail 33 again that goes through Saint Lucie has turned into a long road ride instead of trail, loss of right away. The trail that used to cut across from Trail 33 to Montagne Noir is closed loss of right away...Trail 333 from the diesel depot to Blainville closed. That is what I ran into just this weekend riding in the Laurentians....
TDI-HAM
Trail 333 is only closed from Labelle road to the rail crossing- (the new commuter train is the cause for this closure).Other than that, so far we are good. Next year might be another story with the "Mega center" going in beside the pipeline on the Bell Helicopter side of the 15.
