sledzz
Hello, does anyone have info or experience crossing the Ottawa river near Hawkesbury Ontario into Quebec west of Lachute? Specifically trying to cross over from Ontario trails to stay at Hotel Lac Carling then on our way up to St. Zenon area. Is it a bridge crossing or ice crossing. Thank you very much for any info you can provide.

Thank you very much for any info you can provide. I understand It is an ice crossing a few miles south of the Hawkesbury bridge. Not sure how well marked it is, buddy of mine crossed a few years ago and said he had to ask several locals where the spot was. Remember it is a river and the ice is never the same one year to the next. Sorry I could not be more helpful on the river crossing. We were at Hotel Lac Carling yesterday for lunch, pretty sure you will like it as a stop over or launching spot. MrGutz
