  1. That Denis. He has a machine shop down near 3 Rivers. Mike is right, a very nice gentleman. It was about a mile and 1/2 walk for him. He use to make a replacement cover for the REV master cylinder that he would imprint your QR screen name on. I still have mine. Unfortunately it won't fit the XP's.
  2. Won't be anything open in the Saguenay, not with the wind they had today. Maybe after the wind goes down the Caribou-Conscrits will be grooming. Gotta get cold to freeze up the swamps. Groomers don't run well in the water. Couple years ago the Caribou-Conscrits had to buy a$10,000 load of logs to lay down in the swamp in order to get the groomer out..
  3. You and Terry were the heros that night. You two guys knew how to find them with the info Andy had given me. With your help the police knew exactly where to find them. It use was a night to remember.
  4. About once a week I ride by the site where he had made a wind break out of snow and I think about him that night. Some things you never forget, that is one for me. I believe his buddy who was with him that night, gave up riding. Not 100% sure of that but 90% sure. Andy's previous training, as a pilot, kicked in that night. He was so cool headed when he was on the phone with me. The other fellow didn't have that training and he was like I would have been, scared sh**less. I spoke to him several years later at Andy's house and he had not gotten it out of his system. If any of you are ever thinking of riding east of the lake in a blowing wind storm, don't, put in at the first place you find.
  5. Off the east end of Lac-St-Jean. Wind blows west to east. Andyman knows first hand how wild it can get. He was a lucky man that night. Thank God for the technology we had that night.
  6. Hi BJ Glad to see you back on a Doo. Good luck with her. Bill
  7. Your infamous Republican senator is a RINO.
  8. Will have to get the Bath, ME policeman, Mikerider to investigate this and report back to us here on QR.
  9. This past summer I looked into riding up to Lab City from Baie Comeau area. Emailed President of club in Fermont and he told me we would need a 20" wide, long track sled with a sleigh for each sled as it would be a 2 to 3 day trip depending on weather. Would need food, tent, gas and sleeping bags and he also suggested a guide. I with you viper2, a wimpy trail rider.
  10. This is not appropriate for this site. Go to Freedom Rider with these kind of post.
  11. I have friends in high places, right Steve
  12. I couldn't be any happier than I am today. Never went to sleep until after his acceptance speech. Now watch the swamp get drained. Tired of politicians. Go in broke come out millions. So was the majority of Americans.
  13. Yes but I've got to get them off my phone. It ain't easy for old guys like me but I'll git her done.
  14. Really enjoyed the pictures, thanks for posting.
  15. I am attending the snowmobile show in Quebec City. This morning it was snowing here. Heard that Mont Valin got 30 to 40 cm the other day. On the way up here when I was at the 1856'elevation sign on I-91 it was snowing. Course temps are at 32F so nothing is sticking
  16. Hi Phil Nice sled. Good luck with it. Glad to see you back on a Doo. Bill
  17. Ice Hotel had to move. City owned the property, Ice Hotel was leasing 1/3rd of property. City had opportunity to sell the property, sold it and new owner wanted the entire property for development. I believe I heard that the hotel will run a shuttle to and from it but I'll confirm that today and post it.
  18. They are making an enclosed parking area similar to the one at the Delta Saguenay. I just confirmed that today with the new GM. I met him at the Quebec snowmobile show which is where I am tonight. They will become an advertiser here on QR.
  19. And the whole time your gone you are worried that it will be stolen. No corral....no start from there.
  20. They are becoming an advertiser here on QuebecRider very soon. Annik and Martin are the new owners. They were both over the road truckers and owned a fleet of tractors and trailers. Very nice people. Bill, Annik and Ginger having a love cherry.
  21. Hi Shadogang As of now I plan on going to going to Saguenay City onJan 05. I will start posting on Jan 06 regarding conditions where I ride daily. If I can help you just shoot me a question and I'll get back to you. Saguenay Bill
  22. I had no idea you could take videos like that with a drone. I know I'm no wheres up on the new techknowledgey. Hell I'm still using my Kodak Brownie to take pictures. How much range do you have flying them? By that I mean if you are standing in one spot how far can you control them.
  23. Very nice. I thought the reds and the other colors this year were the best that I've seen in the 14 years I've been in NH.
  24. Actually this is closer to Roberval than to St Prime. It is the river/stream that that divides where Roberval stops grooming and St Prime/St Felicien stops grooming. When I went across it it was like the picture and the next week the bridge had been installed or it may have been a culvert was installed, can't remember which but in any case you didn't have to cross open water.
