Certification recognizes the efforts and successes of conscientious snowmobile clubs. 2. The Sticks are up on the river to get to Comfort Inn and over to Auberge Gouverneur. Also Saw that the trail to/from Drakaar (Safari) and the Esso station has been opened i. Shawinigan Sud.
  3. Looks delicious over there JG. Keep on trucking my man. Fine Job as always.

  6. Yeah, you can be sure. I will not be the first.
  7. Everthing I see as of today still has river closed going north. Made some calls now, Waiting for a call back. To confirm.
  8. I wish i could tell you. I called Escapade but Kevin does not work there anymore he is involved with the club. It's safe near Grand Mere for sure to cross on 23 other than that best i can do is go check it Thurs or Friday myself. I will do some further checking and let you know if i find out more.
  9. Jan 4 update -1c still light snow on and off. sorry I must apologize, i was wrong on my snow total before it's not 8-9" no no, there is a solid 12" of new snow. It was blown off the hot tub so until I actually went outside it was hard to tell.
  10. Jan 4 -2c light flurries, big snow over I'll say 8-9" nice stuff gonna pack in nicely. Once they groom this in we are golden here. I'll give em a day or so then check it out.
  11. Not sure on the 83, was some talk on cmiq but they did not mention why it was not groomed yet. Just that soon it would be from 22 north. That looks like it happened but not all the way so it's very possible.
  12. Jan 3 update 2 -2c warming a bit. Still all snow. About 6" so far maybe 7" blowing around a bit.
  13. Club Passe-Partout Roberval From Today, lot's of work to get trail open. Lots of trees and brush to be cleared. Thank the club volunteers when you see one. Wherever it is. They all work tirelessly to make trails the best they can and as safe as possible.
  14. Jan 3 update -3c Snow Machine is on big time. 3" so far
  15. 3 Jan. -4c Snow started about 30 minutes ago. Snowfall warning issued. Saying 15-20cm this is just what the doctor ordered. This will really fill in all the spots that needed just a bit more snow here and there.
  16. Yes sir JG when I saw that motorcycle, your clubhouse was the first thing I thought of. I'll keep the grooming pics coming just for you. see you soon. Keep up the good work.
  17. A foot will fix everything around here quite nicely. Still missing snow to fill in all the holes. We shall see. Only -2c right now. Kind of warm.
  18. Funny, very true about "just throwing darts" for seven days out. Hell they are lucky to know 3 days out. It changes alot. However, Environment Canada is usually the most accurate from my experience. Much more than Meteo or Accu Weather. Maybe not long term but day to day. Believe me I check them all.
  19. For the snow we got here it sure is. Trying to get out again this afternoon not sure if it's gonna happen yet.
  20. You will be pleased, they have done a nice job with the place and tgey go above and beyond for you. Redge is the man.
  21. You are Very Welcome John. Happy New Year to you and yours. Hope to see you here in Quebec. Good luck to all for next time.
  22. Not sure exactly where you are Starting from in QC city?ot St Raymond? They are two different places. so basically you have two ways to get to Jonquiere. From QC City go up 369 to 23 or From Saint Raymond go up 23 see maps below 265 approximately this way up 369 Up 23 from St Raymond is longer if starting from QC city obviously it's approximately 344 km
  23. Yeah nothing crazy just nice to ride. Man I hope so, my forecast on Environment Canada is saying Rain or Snow. With Freezing Rain Tues morning. Time will tell.
  24. Jan 1 Left here at noon. Nice to see the machine where she belongs, outside in the snow. Hit the trail TQ 3 Est. direction Shawinigan Sud...fresh snow loose but nice, many tags and brush still poking through here on the hydro lines. The usual thing for early on in season. Continued to Shawi Sud. Here is the Intersection for M-2 to Shawi Sud, and Shawinigan Continued on 3 est then took the 351 direction St. Severin. Trail in the swampy parts needs more snow to fill in all the uneaven terrain, alot of up and downs. But all in all not too shabby. I saw no water holes at all. Once out of the swamp and onto the Railbed section it was real sweet. I continued to Relais Station. Passed on through was maybe 6 sleds there. Contnued on to the intersection just after the Relais. continued on the 351 nord arrived at the junction of 351 and 302. Decisions, Decisions i choose 302 only one track on the fresh snow here i'm going. really some great conditions for Jan 1 and we do not have nearly the amount of snow around here as other areas so they have done a fine job with the snow we have. Some nice spots but nothing spectacular just yet. But very rideable. Found some nice scenery in the woods. continued on 302 checked St. Ubalde but did not see Playhard getting a Pizza. Maybe in 2 weeks, kept going and joined back up with TQ3 now going back ouest. The Section between St Cashmir and where my club takes over in St Prosper, was the ugliest of the day. Big bumps and needs snow to be groomed in nice. However my club is on it and looking sweet. I cruise toward the Closed down Rogers Cabin and realize that the Groomer was here not long ago. This is the best trail I've seen all day. yup sure enough i catch up to him just before Chez Roger onward to St Stanislas. I stop on the river to check it out. Ran the TQ 3 back to St. Narcisse where i gassed up. Then back to Lac a Tortue on TQ3 and back to Relais Iceman. I'm quite pleased with what I've seen and things will continue to improve for sure. snow is very loose still and will get more solid with time. Passed maybe 6 sleds on my whole loop. So a 3 hour ride and although the I motoneige says it was 165 Km I had it at 185 Km and no it was not track spin. Super nice to be back in the Saddle and it feels like I just got off it just yesterday as opposed to last March. Nice. Now to decide where to go Tmmrw. hmmm? until next time.
  25. 1 Jan 2017 -3c snow is over for now. 4" total new snow. Time to do a bit of deneigement, then I'm gonna put on my snowmobile.
