  6. Gaetan and Margot were great and I remember them cooking for us at 10 one night when we limped in there at -40. My battery froze that night and he helped us out the next day, great place!!

  8. The trail to this mountain top was only for advanced riders and was eventually closed, it was even difficult going down, and not possible to groom, today's long tracks can do it and off trail guys go there all the time, where am I??
  9. Once someone said Bistro St Zenon, I recognized it immediately, ate there many times, really liked that place, it has been closed for so long and it was a great facility, everything that way closed with the park, really too bad.
  10. Now here is a classic with Zuesand and who is that young guy with him at what hotel in Amqui??
  11. Pointing black labs from Trieven Kennel in Lovell Wyoming , I have had 3 dogs from them, great on ducks, geese and pheasants. Point, flush and retrieve, my last lab, Trieven's Capture , sired from Trieven's Twist and Shout, was FC, AFC, MH. His father was all ages national champion and is in the Retriever Hall of Fame.Getting one of these dogs is like buying a new sled , I shot 1400 birds over him in 12 years. The dog I have now is from the same blood, he is 9 in 2 weeks, still runs like a 3 year old, I have been sooo lucky to have been able to shoot over 2 dogs in a row that are American Field Champions. I have been in the woods every fall since about 10 years old. Just like sledding, pack up the gear, ride to North West Maine and hunt ducks and grouse for a week. I guess you already guessed I am a big fan of the constitution, I spend all my time away from work hunting, fly fishing and sledding!!
  12. I am going to invite him to go pheasant hunting with me!! I was trained by Dick Cheney, but I'm a better shot!!
  13. A little east of there his friend has a small place to stay and the USA/Canada Boundary marker is out in front by the lake. I am looking for that photo.

  18. I stayed with Jean Guy for a week last winter with Snow Master and his friend Jeff. We were there for his 82 birthday, drove to Wemo to get steak, apple pie and ice cream for dinner. He was there alone last winter and trying to get his wife up there out of the city just as wemo closed. I met him nearly 30 years ago and he and his wife are wonderful, they do not come any better. I hope they are OK and still there, I am going to miss him greatly this winter.
