  1. Scum bags like him know how to play the system and use bottom feeder lawyers to keep them walking the streets.
  2. Not surprised another PIECE OF SHIT is allowed to roam the streets!!!! Flat out RIDICULOUS!!!!!
  3. Hats off to the FIRST RESPONDERS. !!!!!!!! Thankfully a positive outcome considering what could have been.
  4. While doing my cleaning, chaincase oil and tension adjustment on my sled, had on our local 93.3 wmmr station on. Preston and Pierre did a whole tribute to Rush and Neil with a lot of personal insights. The drum solos they played were Amazing🤘🤘.
  5. Your not above St Michele screaming up the lake heading to AUBERGE DU LAC TAUREAU. Get after it HAHA!!!!
  6. Looks like in about an hr or so the white gold will be falling. You’ll have a nice ride to camp playing RUSH in your mind!!!!🤘
  7. Let me guess, trying to start sled outside in a cold morning with a ear piercing backfire which blows a hole in the muffler. That was my insanity with my previous viper. Hate seeing people deal with that BS.
  8. Good for you getting some mileage up there. Honestly wish I’ve known your plans and would have told you to stay out of that lower part. Some great riding north of dam was up there 26/31
  9. FYI.. in the morning always sit in the section by the bar entrance or in front of the register. That’s Frank’s section, he’ll have you guys in an out quick. They have a couple of new young waitresses that are really slow. when going to Mattiwan, once you run threw a parking area for trailers and stop at the stop sign, the trail goes into the woods across the road. That section was a whooped goat path. You could run the road until you can make a left into the red open gate which puts you back on the trail and avoids that particular section of trail. Maybe that section of trail will be different by the time you run it but man was it Brutal. Just a heads up. Also if your going to Repo from the 33 north side, they have you running multiple lakes as of now which will give you the opportunity to really unleash those turbos.👍
  10. Never had a bad dinner at MOTEL AU VIEUX MOULIN À SCIE down the street.
  11. Trak maps are excellent, that is what I use. just keep in mind since that area is not fully setup with signage, you’ll find yourself running some sections of trail from previous years not current.
  12. Hey guys, just got back from the LaCabanon 26/31. Actually left while the 6 + inches of snow was going on. You’ll have no problems leaving sleds in the corral, Dennis does a nice job having a night watchman walking the trailer pen throughout the night keeping an eye on any suspicious activity. Be careful out on the trails because underneath all the new snow there are icy turns with some rocks but believe me it’s not as bad as the INTERNET says it is. Signage is not 100% with a lot of reroutes north of dam.Was able to ride 910 miles while up there. Who ever is considering going up, just go and have fun.
  13. Figured it had to be some sort of safety issue. Either way ride the trails as they are presented and make some memories!!!!!!!
  14. Noticed the same thing, last year while up there after Xmas, Dennis actually ran the groomer up to the Dam. Curious to see what that’s all about.
  15. Thanks Snowmaster, this tekvest thing really threw me for a loop. The vector jacket is my all time favorite. The rep said they just stopped making it with no real explanation. Ill try to put some feelers out but don’t know to many that wear a 3x.
  16. Well had a very interesting day with my ongoing jacket decision. So luck would have it that a dealer at our annual snowmobile show started carrying CHOKO GEAR, vest in hand and I start trying on the adventurer/ Pro racing jacket. #1 quality seemed excellent, but the Adventurer was quite heavy compared to what I’m used to and with the vest on it’s just way to much without the removal liner option. #2 Pro Racing Jacket was also heavy feeling with or without liner. Again excellent quality but for me with vest on way to heavy feeling. If not using a Tekvest I would consider either or. Then I visit my old dealers booth with all the Klim gear which always has a Klim rep on hand. For there 2020 line they changed up the insulation again and each jacket has different thinsulate ratings from there revamp 2018 jackets. #1 keeweena jacket is back to being there most warm jacket with a zip out vest. It’s more FORM fitting ect and for me didn’t fit quite right with vest( rep agreed) #2 The Kaos Jacket is a basic entry level jacket with bold new graphics, only 160 grams of thinsulate, half the venting options as the other jackets and smaller venting zipper lengths. Half the quality as the old vector jacket and NOT the replacement for the vector jacket as I was told by the rep. #3 The klimate, less insulation, then the revamped 2018 version which for 2020 now makes the Keeweena there warmest coat. The fit is much more friendly with a vest on and was completely different then the keeweena jacket. So the Klim rep admitted to me that the 2020 klimate/ 2018 Klimate has the same fit but the 2018 version is warmer. Agreed for my situation to purchase a 2018 version if I could find one. Well I did, it’s coming this week. For me the Klim jackets just feel very light compared to others, and always preformed well in my eyes. Sorry for the long winded post, maybe this will be helpful to others when considering buying new gear.
  17. So sorry to hear about your loss. My condolences to you and your entire family. Chris
  18. The jacket I have now works very well and has proven itself in Quebec, at least for me. Just need bigger size. Since being a member on this site, everybody speaks highly of the Choko line.So I thought I might try there jackets.Only problem is I can’t physically get my hands them.
  19. I loved the vector jacket, used it for many years, actually my riding partner now uses it. It was a 2x, lost weight couldn’t use it anymore. Bought the 2018 all black klimate with white logo’s that Klim redesigned with 300 grams and its a large. Fits fine with my layers BUT with a tek vest I need a xl. So either a buy a xl klim( which I found online) or I was thinking about the Choko Pro racing jacket xl which I also found online with the zip out liner. Decisions!!!!!!! 😂
  20. Thanks for all input !!!!. I was really surprised on how thick these certain vests are, even with my normal base and mid layers on they don’t even come close to the thickness of the vest. Most of my normal outlets don’t even carry CHOKO GEAR so it’s hard to get my hands on there different jackets for fitment so that’s why I’m asking basic questions. I think the adventure jacket might be to much considering the vest is a insulator in its self. There pro racing jacket I saw has a zip out liner that caught attention.
  21. Hey Mike, how does the jacket fit, meaning is it more form fitting or do there sizes run on the bigger side.
  22. Yea.... I have the tekvest trail pro and it’s tight, loose on the bottom, arms but I need more room around stomach, ribs, ect.
  23. Need to buy a larger jacket because I’m wearing a Tek Vest this year. im seriously looking a the the Choko Adventurer, and the Pro Racing jacket. Need advice on both PRO’S/CON’S
  24. Last year while while searching for the Titan 210 electric combo helmet from CKX, I found a distributor called PEAKBOYS online. So I purchased the helmet, had a excellent transaction ect. While the helmet preformed as described I found A minor issue ( cover detaching from electrical plug). I sent a email describing situation, next morning got a replay, instructions on exactlywhat they needed for WARRANTY. They answered all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. After sending pictures, they processed the claim with CKX, told me what parts are being sent ect. They went even further and made a video for me showing how the goggle is taken apart (step by step). There video not CKX’S. Refreshing to deal with a vender that takes customer service seriously. So all you US guys and gals, this company is legit, don’t be afraid to purchase from them. Just wanted to share my experience.
  25. Thinking about using those Linq locks made by Whiteout Technology. Fully understand that it’s just a deterrent but seems like a good idea especially while touring. Locking 4 gallon can to sled, oil caddy to gas can. Anyone have any experience with these?
