  1. Zero Tolerance is recognized by all of the provincial and territorial snowmobile federations and associations right across Canada. Some inturpet this differently than others, Nova Scotia is the same as Ontario with no liquor for sale by any snowmobile club. "No I say till the end of the day" This is the safest motto to sled by. There Linda, that takes you off the hook. I will take my collar off now too.
  2. Are you not coming? Oh my, the power of that little thing!!!
  3. I was to the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations meeting in Ottawa over the weekend and hear there may be big news coming for Murdochville. It sounds like a new hotel complex may possibly be announced in the very near future. What more could a person ask for than the Hotel Copper! Haha The rooms may not be fancy but I have never had a poor meal, the food is always good! That said, a new place would be good summer or winter.
  4. I am not saying he can't cook, but if he was making boiled eggs for breakfast they would be cooked in red wine!!
  5. Say it Andy, I know you want to! You just wish it was your Cat!!
  6. Very risky, with the American economy where it is today. 10 years ago it would have been a different story.
  7. La Cache is in a great location, but needs some $$ to make it work IMO. It needs some tent/camper set ups, 4-6 nice cabins and the resturant/kitchen upgraded. It is an ideal location for moose hunting, salmon fishing, hiking, ATVs, snowmobiling, plus only 10 miles from the Gaspesie National park.
  8. When I was there in the sumer I believe he was looking for $280K. I suspect he would negoiate now!
  9. Tabernak!!! I am bilingual Timbo, english and profanty!
  10. Buy your PQ Trail permit from Groomer, he usually includes the Gaspe map and the local Matapedia maps in the envelope.
  11. WOW!!! You are really old aren't you?! Happy Birthday Tim, hope you had a great day.
  12. Happy Birthday Rob, hope you have had a good day with family and friends. Hope you get to PQ this winter to enjoy what this website you created is all about.
  13. "Dave the Tongue" is going to be there for sure. He is looking forward to several PQ trips this winter. Oh the stories!!!
  14. Just buy a BRP Spyder, conversion done!
  15. WOW!! Those little trees are growing fast, that ground was just cleared two years ago
  16. The Master at work. The Master not working. Thanks Jean Guy for a great weekend. I couldn't afford to feed you any longer, I had to go home!!
  17. $900/kilometer X 33,000 kilometers of trail in PQ = $29,700,000.00 Spread this over 85,000 trail permits per year is $350.00 additional dollars to the price of each trail pass!
  18. I can't imagine this was done by the city on purpose to cause hardships to other areas. The financial gain in having snowmobiles in your area is huge, I suspect they were trying to help their local businesses in the off season. Unfortuneatly I don't believe they really thought this through. Once you show there is money there what is to stop the farmers from asking for $1500/ kilometer next time it is renewed??
  19. I called them last week and told them I was oming next weekend and wanted the bridge done for when I came!! LOL That is great they replaced it. I will cross it on Thursday night if the weather is good for the weekend.
  20. I was afraid of the precedent this could be setting when I first read it. Hopefully the government will step in and stop this before it gets out of control. Organized snowmobiling can not support this sort of compensation. Next thing you know every landowner with a trail on their property will be looking for a piece of the pie.
  21. Another very seedy character to keep your eyes on.
  22. Ah yes Tim Nova Scotia will be well represented, in fact I had a confirmation of another dignitary today, "Dave The Tongue" will be joining this fine Quebec Rider Gathering!
