I think that section of trail was around Armagh. Freaky thing, we were in a group of four just ripping down the railbed and stopped to wait for our buddies. Went back to find them and the railbed collapsed from when we went by and our two buddies came along................I have pictures on my other computer I'll post later............scary deal. Slowed me down a couple notches.......like a warning.............we were running 80-100 just seconds before.

I just looked at your map and Roland grew up in Buckland but now he has a house in Armstrong...................I think you are near the railbed (trail 35?)that collapsed a few years ago, That piece fell between our group of sleds/ Do you know where I mean?

Precisely I can only afford one right now..................but it's worth it.

I think that is why alot of people don't travel to that area anymore. Always felt a little sketchy around there. Great riding area though.

Another trail into L'Etape would be nice. That would take some of the pressure off the other trail. That area gets alot of use especially on weekends.

Bobler, i think it would be a good investment for you to get an illuminated, dash mount GPS. That way we can take the Dennis factor out of riding. Spend less time asking questions in franglish and still going the wrong way.

I hope to be able to get some days to play up in Valins this year. It's always such a rush trip when we're up there we don't seem to have the time to explore....................I know you can't relate Bill.

We tend to get going a little later than most but still manage closer to or more than 300 a day. It's more a matter of fuel that limits us. In the last couple years since I have a fuel efficient machine (Apex) I tend to play around more and explore the pits, fields, hills and powerlines. Hopefully this year I can get to some of those secondary trails I passed at 60mph and wondered where they go.

What do you need to ride legally up there Bernard?

I don't know the name but I think it's right on the edge of a lake where we lost a couple buddies for 2 days last year. Sat on the edge of the lake waiting for them to come back for a couple hours and all the locals weren't sure the lake was safe. All this in a 60 mph whiteout. Not a good night.
