Lately I've been hearing a bunch of small world stories and it gets me wondering about the connections and links between people. Like how someone you meet thousands of miles from home happened to grow up in the same town as you. Or how you find out a friend of yours knows another friend of yours and you didn't know there was a connection..................might be interesting.

Doesn't really matter, I will have to "bum" a ride but hopefully if someone is willing to take a ride a few hours either way doen't really matter to us. I wish i hadn't sold my truck in the summer. I figured i'd get a new one by winter but I never got around to it. All my friends have turned into girls nobody is up for adventure anymore. I'll load my sled on the Beemer if I have to Where do you think the best riding will be then............?

Where would you head for some back country playing next weekend like the 2nd or 3rd of April?

Great Pic and write up Smc. Would you think next week will be still navigable from Grand Falls or thereabouts? Off to Florida tomorrow but hoping next weekend to get a few days on the Gaspe.

That said, how is the riding up your way right now? I'm hoping to ride week after next Thurs - Mon, whats chances?

I agree with the folks on the Gaspe, some of the nicest people ever. All over Quebec and NB for that matter the people are just so giving. I have been amazed at how helpful they are and it's just routine. Try driving up to a strangers house in the states and having them give you a ride to a Doo dealer. Not Likely............

Great trip. We've done the same route minus the flatbed ride. Was the river not open or just sketchy. I'm thinking of doing a similar route in the next couple weeks.

Andy, great report as usual..............the reason I started going to HCS and now here in the first place. Hope to see you on the trail.

Used to be a bad spot for theft. Not sure how it is now. There is a couple name brand hotels down near the shopping area that have good lighting and such. Just lock the your sled to another sled or solid object and that seems to deter most theft. My Pro X was nearly stolen in Sherbrooke a couple years ago except it only turned left in the parking lot because I had the steering locked. Could see where they rode it around in 2 circles before abandoning it in the middle of the parking lot. I'd stay away from the Balmoral, lotta seedy characters seem to hover around there.
