Has anyone ridden the river by Latuque that runs from Lac Edouard down to Latuque. The St Maurice, I believe. Looks like great scenery and a good place to cover some miles. Where can you go from that area........I saw miles of it from the flatbed ride I took from Lac Edouard last year and was wondering.

I agree with most but I've seen more than one knucklehead looking over his shoulder scolding one of my buddies meanwhile he's flying at me on my side of the trail. My philosophy is, ride as though over every hill or corner there will be someone coming at you and still I have been startled a few times a season because I got complacent. My group rides pretty aggressively but almost always correctly. A couple more tips I would pass on would be to always wait at every intersection until you're sure the guy behind has seen which way you went. Works great, and keeps you in touch with your group. When you lose contact with the rider behind you, pull over and wait a short, appropriate amount of time and if you have to slowly proceed to where he was seen last. Can't tell you how many times I've turned around and met my buddies coming at me at Mach1 trying to catch up. Last one, watch out for high aluminum bridges......................... Speedo pics and Robs trips is what got me hooked on riding Quebec...........gave alot of us inspiration for some big bag trips.

Haven't ridden that area since they closed the railbed down...............Gotta get up there this year.

It's too bad the guys that develop sleds don't actually give them out to try and listen to the feedback..............we met a guy from Yamaha back in '96 in Quebec, I won't name names, but he's a big shot now and he was such an authority on everything it's not surprising the sleds come through out of whack. The Nytro is 80% great sled 20% unridable, not a great combination. It's that 20% that will hurt you................ Note the model of sled in the picture......we were all going the same way when we started.................

Yah, I think so. I'm hoping that the smoke coming from under my hood is just from the new parts burning off oil New track and all new bearings should get her another 10k miles...........whattya think? I wasn't sure you were gonna ride with me this year with all your high filutin race buddies around and all. Last time my sled moved, it was water skiing behind your sled...............

Well I got the track on just waiting for some bearings and she'll be buttoned up and ready to fly. Might be a low budget year so I gotta make the trips count. High mileage, low style. I know you like that.

Try this link to convert your GPS files to visualizer..............just open the site, browse your GPS files and click convert. They will apper on a google eart map. Of course you have to have Google Erth as well but thats a free download......hope that helps. Prior, You're actually very close to the trail but you can't ride from St Sauv. we went there a couple years. You can trailer to the next town north and unload at the trail head. Take a look at the quebec map....I think the trail starts in St Adele
