We were in this area yesterday, rode up from moosehead lake area to the armstrong club house was good. From boundary bald mountain up the trails was in great shape. From the border to the club house at armstrong was great as usual.

Over 25 to the 580 junction also in good shape

580 towards lac megantic was very good until you got to St Ludger, from St ludger, there was minimal snow in the fields but passable. The piece of 580 that runs through the bog area just before lac drolet as boney but passable. Many sleds on the trail yesterday, beyond lac drolet, we took the connector trail towards audet. This was passable audet where we had lunch.

Below audet it has not been opened up.

We returned off trail on the logging roads along the border to the armstrong club house for an afternoon break and back to moosehead

A decent 225 for the low snow conditions in many areas.

I apologize for the lac of pics

rode friday from Norton Vt to Lac Megantic-only good trail conditions were from Lapatrie to just before Woburn. saturday as stated above trail got good along 580 to Armstong clubhouse. North on 75 was good to just befors St George then poof no snow on powerline-but soldiered on with the four wheelers to 55 west toward Thetford mines-still no snow till about 15 miles past Notre Dam de Pins, then from about 25 miles out to Thetford got better.Sunday good out of thetford for about 15 miles towards Weeden then lack of snow and icy base made for hard on body and sled riding, got better close to US border Crossed back into Canaan and once out of town trails very good canaan to norton and then okay back to home in Holland.

150 miles a day; total only 450; with probably a hundred good riding, 100 terrible, and the rest everything in between. They need more snow everywhere except where the trails are over roads. powerlines were all horrible, like riding in the bumpy woods but straight forever.

It's snowing and blowing now, maybe this storm will bring us into Winter conditions!
