revct1
I have been to Mont Laurier but not the Atibbi region, This i need to look into. Reservoir Goiun??? That sounds famillar..... Think I have a packet on that from years back. Seems like I talked to a guy that has a place on the edge of the Reservoir at a sled show. Hi Bill, If you haven't been to the Abitibi region, put it on the list. There are plenty of trails and places to stay. 8 days will give enough time to start wherever you want, get to Abitibi and back. Example: Lac St Jean to Chibougamau to Senneterre (trail 93) = 2 long days Senneterre to Clova / Parent to Lac St Jean (trail 83) = 2 or 3 days This depends on where you are at Lac St Jean but that leaves enough time to explore Abitibi or have a start point that isn't on the trail 93 / 83 loop. The trails in Abitibi are still Quebec trails but have a slightly different flavor to them. Jack & Sandi
