revct1
Good afternoon Timbo, We frequently stay at Motel Bernieres on the south shore just below Quebec City in St Nicholas. We did have a two place trailer stolen from there once quite a few years ago. After that, the motel made an enclosure for trucks and trailers. Again, precautions to secure your vehicles is the best practice. Make your vehicles the least desirable instead of the easiest targets. Motel Bernieres is about two hours from the border. It is and easy drive in the truck. By snowmobile, trails 5, 35 and 55 are nice rides heading east. RDL is a one day ride from Bernieres. Many day loops can be done or you can base from Bernieres and saddlebag to Gaspe or take the transport to the north side of the river and head to LSJ or Sept Isles. The snow cover at Bernieres is usually a step up from the Eastern Townships, signage is very good and maps or GPS will get you to your destination. The winter is getting closer.
