Brdgbldr85
Me, Schooter and Wayne rode today with Bill and Farmerold out of the HI and up to Onatchiway by trails 83 to 367 to trail 476 to the relais at Onatchiway. They are grooming trail 484 tonight as we were told going down to Scoobyraid. We returned to the HI by trail 477 which was wide smooth and groomed all the way to trail 93 and back into 328 west to return. Trails were a 9 of ten today with great snow cover and light traffic. Had to stop and see the Cave on the way up. Going to the Ferry crossing at Toudasac and Sacre-Cour to stay overnight and back in on Friday by Mt. Valin. Will not be able to post Thursday. Cold today, but not crazy, -10 F and high of 12 F.
Brdgbldr85
Jan. 22 We started riding east on trail 83 and it was groomed like a table top all the way out thru onto trail 3. It was 98 miles to trail 3 and 83 fom the HI at Jonqueire. Went to Clermont to Fuel up in ten more miles and went 5 more miles out to the Casino Charlevox. Casino gave us heated garage parking and got to roll our luck at the slots after lunch in the Restaurant overlooking the St. Lawrence. Headed out by 2 at the Casino and topped off fuel in St. Simeon at the Petro T. It was 53 miles to St. Simeon to the Casino and then crossed the ferry at Toudesec and rode to stay at the Coronet in Sacre-Coeur. It was 67 miles from St. Simeon to Sacre-Cour. The Ferry crossing was so windy we could barely stand up. Great day trail were groomed everywhere and rode 230 miles today total for the overnight stay. All trails were a 10 today and all the clubs did a great job grooming. I am proud to ride in Quebec!!!!Jan. 23 We started back thru Mt Valin on trail 93 east and stopped at the Frozen waterfall and continued on to La Chapelle for a great lunch and pit stop. We decided to go to Valinouet Ski area and fuel up at the Dappeneur and then back track to the lookout La Hute off trail 93. It was only 12 miles from Chapelle to the ski area Valinouet and then 10 miles back to the trail 265 down to the lookout. We then picked up trail 328 west to trail 367 going toward St. Ambroise and back down to the HI thru shipshaw. Trails today were 8.5 of ten and the last 30 miles back was a ten and with fresh snow on. Rode 180 miles today and had a nice relaxed trip to enjoy the scenery. Currently snowing very hard and very windy.

Returned back aroud 6 pm and temps. were -12 F Trails today were 5-10 and had alot of drifting snow and new snow not groomed in yet. By end of the day we passed 3 groomers hard at work to smooth the trails. Snow cover even around ALMA was good..
