talked with 2 guys north of toronto ...about 1 mile after logging road...first hill going down...they were on their way to the auberge

dad and i were alike...happy in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors and traffic jams...
for you linda...you would have enjoyed a 3-4 days salmon fishing trip down the patapedia river with dad...he  knew that river like he dug it by himself
 
mom and dad started business in 1955 ...with chainsaws...
early 60' s '' chez nous , cest ski doo !!!...right from the beginning
motorcycles...late 60's ...bridgestone , triumph , bsa ....yamaha later ...mortorcycles only....then late 74 ...early 75 ....honda...
if memory still good ...dad sold dealership to 2 of my brothers in 82 ...also ,first time in amqui 
new dealership/ building  in 84 in amqui ...
 
august 97 ,big loss ...mom passed away ...she was the chainsaw pieces clerk mastermind ......dealing with guys with big beard...big belly and big arms and talking big strange words
very well respected...when she left us ...she made some of those big guys cry...
around 00's  , oldest brother retired from business
2016 , opening of the dealership in matane...
 
glad dad saw the evolution of the dealership..right from the beginning
even if dad was handicapped by his sight ...he never stopped...always forward....always new projects in mind...

forgot ...on the other post ...the farm...next to trail for lake ...st alexandre and lac saumon...took pic about 3 miles lower than clubhouse...next to main road for albertville ..town is down the valley...
great thinking gutz...you just gave me an idea ...ahahah

hahhah...finally ...they let me out of jail !!!
before leaving for camp friday , my computer was feeling sick....maybe water in the gas line....when i came back sunday ...worse...checked with brother last night...still samething ...then this morning ....vrooooooooooommm !!!
i guess thre was a ghost somewhere...
on my way to the lake frenette dam last friday ....saw that female ...walking super slowly ...ticks i guess....more than half an hr to walk one mile
rained yesterday morning...water levels still very low.....ste florence and lac saumon....kaputt ...no more water

starting very slowly ....can see in the lower elevations,leaves started to change colors ....
moved outside albertville for work ...friday morning ...sun was looking funny ...on my way to camp in the afternoon ...took a few pics...smoke from bc fires !!!
need rain badly ...4 miles from my house....2 miles lower than the bridge for shortcut for clubhouse...up to 400 salmons stuck in a pool...
went to check the  river at 4 different places during weekend !!!
only 2 moose...last night on my way back to camp !!!

merci !!...fun to have moose close like that and they were nt stressed at all ...i walked close to a 1 / 4 mile behind them !!!...10 mins ride from my camp !!!
finally ...t-storms today...heavy rain...and lots humidity 
 
forgot yesterday , just by hazard i saw last week on the net that one of the owner of the yamaha dealership in matane passed away back in may...michel.. ...i knew that guy since the mid 70's...
mx racing around the gaspesie  and a few provincial races..his brother was racing ...the other owner !!!

not the greatest weekend for pics...
traffic jam 1.5 miles from my camp last night ...pics with bull....almost darkness last night while taking pics of sunset / t-storm ...it was very windy ....he was scratching his head where to go !!!
brought back 4w in town....light problem ....did last 2 miles last night with no lights....just a little headlight to put on my head....lucky moon was big !!!
