What day did they get all the snow. We stayed at the Copper last Tuesday night 2/14 left out threw La Cache to Matane. Spent a couple days on the north shore before heading back to Remouski to go home. Had the wives on that trip so glad we didn't hit the storm. They would have freaked out. Lots of snow before the storm it was a great ride threw the interior.

Going back to Gaspe Feb 10-18 thinking about trying L-Empress to leave from. Last time we left from Hotel Ramouski Warmed up that week when we got back there wasn't a speck of snow in town. Empress looks closer with less downtown traffic to the trail. Anyone stayed here??? Parking?? Safe??

Any of you guys ever venture up as far as the circle lake Manik 5 area. Just curious as to weather gas and lodging were available that far up off the beaten path. We like off trail riding and thought a March trip to that area would be kind of fun. Thx for any info.

Just checking with you guys up there as to where the best snow is still for this next week. Thinking about La Melbaie to depart, riding threw Tadoussac and up to Km 31 for a few days there and back to the truck. As much off trail as we can up north. Any problems with the snow in any of these areas?? Mostly from where we are leaving from is there enough snow??Thx for the input. Are they still grooming in these areas also??

HI Snowfarmer. Just wanted to thank you for all the help planning our trip. Left Manawaki Sat. afternoon Feb7 late rode to the Classic 40 Miles. Clean and warm but a little rough. Left Sunday morning to La domaine for gas on our way to Lac Trout. 170 Miles long day for the girls. Lac Trout was a great spot beautiful lodge and good food. Left Monday for Ville Marie stayed at Domaine Temikami also a very nice place with excellent food and hospitality. Tuesday it was on to La Sarre where we stayed at Villa Mon Repos another 170 mile day. Wed. off to Val Dor and the Forestel. Thur. off to Bal Buzzard this was a long 170 mile day in bitter cold and strong winds. The girls were troopers low on gas and late in the day we were glad to cruise into there yard. Fri. -36 F. we were off again for Parent where we stayed at La Hombre nice little Villas just out of town. Sat. down to Club Gatinau where we stayed in i rustic cabin and was treated to a fantastic Valintines day dinner. Sunday back to the truck and home by 8:00. Great trip 1120 miles. Thanks again for the help would like to meet up sometime. Excuse the spelling I ran this off really quick on my way to bed.

First Saturday will be a short day wont leave the truck till afternoon. Need something between Manawaki and Lac Trout is this a place you guys are familiar with??? Gas?? Anything along the way??? I think Trout would be in reach the second day??? How far then from Val Dore?? Whats along the way back towards Parent Clova?? We all have pony tanks but want to be sure on fuel/ Thx again Midrange how far is Lavaraandre from Manawaki More than a half day???

Forgot a couple things last night. Want to make a week of the trip back to the truck the following Sunday. We have ridden in Quebec for years just never in this section. Heading west we are looking at La Domaine to Lac Trout over towards Val Dore then back east toward Clova then depending on time maybe the Gouin or open to sugestions??? Thx

Hi guys. I'm hoping to get some info planning a trip the first week in Feb. Like to leave from Manawaki or Grand Remous area Sat aroind noon heading west toward Val Dore. Need a place to stay that night ??? La Domaine??? Have the wives with us this trip so trying to stay under 200 miles a day.. Like to loop up around Val Dore then back north and east back towards Parent Clove maybe Gouin??? Any ideas with lodging and gas would be a big help. Thx in advance Sorry for the spelling my French is bad.

Groomer looks like you will have everything in great shape fpr our trip starting this Sunday. Do a little snow dance and keep that mixed precep away. Next week looks pretty good but a little colder would be better. It should be colder in the higher elevations, Murdochville area I would think. Oh well keep out fingers crossed mother is kind to us. Now I really can't wait!!!! Won't get good rest all week. They must have gotten alot of snow in the higher elevations, we will be there for a few days on our trip. Have a guide for a full day of off trail fun on Mountain sleds, that should be awsome. If I can figure it out I will post pics from my smarter than I phone while we are there. My wife and I may stay an extra day to just look up "groomer" and buy him lunch for being so imformative. Groomer how long would it take to ride to your club from Ramouski??? All good Dave.

Groomer keep it going more the better. We will be there on the March 3 to ride that week. Staying at some of the places you gave to me . Really looking forward to it, our first time in the Gaspe, always have gone other places in Quebec. Can't wait. Thanks so much for all of your help ands posts they are the best. Dave upstate NY.
