  1. Bill! It's SO important for us "youngsters" to see an Old-Timer continue to throw his leg over his sled. Thank you for the inspiration that it's OK to keep riding well past the signs of creaking and cracking of mature bones!
  2. 10-4. Any odo reading. Any time.
  3. As my Dear Old Grandpa Abe used to say "Superabundant felicitations to your grandiloquent self on this your natal day!" (He was kinda corny like that)
  4. Spin = BAD! Traction = GOOD! Got it!
  5. Ensuite, il est vrai! Nice angles! And you're VERY tall in #3!
  6. Nope. Don't be fooled by the headlights. Not running. They threw me a recovery strap for my winch hook. (Strategic of me to have the lunch cooler on my ride!)

  13. Cheese Doodles & Coke & Combos from the vending machines & Atkins bars & Tylenol at the saw mill between Lac St jean & Chibougamau (note to self: check the cafeteria hours prior to departure if you want their yummy chicken soup & hot chicken sandwich with green peas & gravy)...
  14. OMFG, the cheesy biscuits @ La Bannik, they're good with anything they serve, and also mighty tasty when you get some to go and have NH Moose pupperoni & smoked fromage out of the saddle bags...
  15. Veal chop etc @ Auberge du Lac Taureau is 5 star...
  16. The bar staff & stiff drinks are top shelf at Caribou in Riv au Renard...

  18. True dat on both poles, but the chain's too short, so all you need is a pliers to open the d-ring. And true dat on no chance of stopping a determined bad guy. At least some places with good intentions try and create a visual deterrent.
  19. Sinister Minister? Organized (and reasonable) voices will be heard. "The squeaky bogey gets the grease"
  20. Give the man some meat pie!!
  21. Dark beer braised sweet cote levee @ Le Trou du Diable brewery in Shawinigan. Demi poulet w/sweet potato frites @ any Rôtisserie St-Hubert. Hawaiian pizza @ St Ubalde Motel (unlikely I know). Clem's meat pie @ Relais la Marmite in Riviere-A-Pierre (also pretty close on the breakfast buffet @ Universal in RDL). Steak Frites @ Hotel & Cie in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. Sugar pie anywhere. And a new fav this year: BACON PIZZA AT THE LUNCHEONETTE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE MOTEL IN CAUSAPSCAL (always best when consumed with everyone's favorite Groomer)!
