Road crossings & shoulders in/out of the north side of Shawinigan are a bigger deal when staying at Hotel Gouveneur & gassing at Esso. But that's still not going to make you be "that guy". Might be worth it for you if you're into pretty cool restos & brewery across from their secure parking. And if you're coming back in from the east it's easy to take the gas in Shawini Sud.

Ice Hotel can hold your helmets in a rack. But the shuttle from 4-Points is the ticket! It was was more comfy touring in "civilian" clothes. And best of all... With a designated driver I was able to hit the Ice Bar!
