  1. Good news on the gas for sure, too bad about the restaurant. I always head for le Madorick and Jacques the owner is an entertaining guy. Problem is the remaining restaurants will be busier than ever. JG where is the Chez Pepere? We used to go to a restaurant more in the centre of the village ( old church pew type benches in the booths ) but that to my knowledge has been closed for several years.
  2. They have been making snow near me at My Tremblant and also St Sauveur. I heard last week there were some ski runs open at St Sauveur but none of that helps they are not sled friendly villages.
  3. Meanwhile over in our neck of the woods we get freezing rain, grr. Kinda sucks about the gas, seems ma and pop gas stations are one by one closing up. That place in Duhamel must of been a gold mind though, I can't remember Not lining up to gas up there.
  4. So I just found out CAA in Quebec now covers sleds and ATV's. Anyone hear of this or have it?Seems a bit vague on the coverage. Towing seems to be limited to getting your sled to a road to be towed. Also mentions gas delivery but not sure if you need to run out by the road side or they plan on delivering on the trail. https://www.caaquebec.com/en/manage-my-membership/caa-plus/
  5. Pleasant and polite rodent with a big tail.
  6. The Party was in Ottawa?, oh crap. I thought all the noise was coming from my house, I guess I apologized to my neighbour for nothing. Dam I hate when that happens.
  7. Thanks! Happy Canada day 🇨🇦and Happy July 4th.🇺🇸 Another soggy holiday weekend here in Que. now if we could only have this amount of precipitation in the winter months.
  8. Probably could sell those beams to some snowboarding park to offset the cost of a new bridge.😄
  9. Thanks for the input. I never had the need for an enclosed trailer before and have only had open snowmobile trailers as I live close to the trail system and can saddle bag from home. The only time I normally trailered sleds is if one broke down or bringing one in for service etc. I'm thinking with an enclosed trailer I am more likely to consider traveling and I would have as a bonus some extra storage area. My garage is getting too full and it is cheaper to buy this trailer than build a storage shed!😁
  10. Thanks Mike, did a little search for RNR trailers and sure enough that is what it is. Guessing this Teamwon.com is a Montreal importer or something judging by the area code.
  11. Wondering if anyone has heard of Teamwon trailers. A Internet search does bring up their web site with pics but not much in the way of specs. Some one fairly local to me is selling sleds and trailer but might sell seperatly and I am interested in the trailer. 2011 teamwon double place hybrid enclosed $2500 CN. Seems not too bad a price considering Triton or Mission trailers in that category go for $5000+ CN new.
  12. Thanks, I just usually stay home and drink a few beer.
  13. Great idea, I think I'll start a go FMCQ me page. Nothing over the top budget, just a new sled, gas money, and Hotel money. 😁
  14. Wonder how old a lobster would have to be to get that big?
  15. Aw man, I thought I was going to see pics of a viper!
  16. Sad day for sure and such a waste of inocent lives.
  17. Yeah saw a bit of it, I lived in Montreal and still go there once a week or so. Not impressed, 40 million dollars for a bunch of pretty lights and meanwhile we drive on the worst kept roads, bridges and overpasses.
  18. I have had issues too and thought it was just me. For a period there I could not upload anything. It would go through the upload process then give me a message saying upload failed or tell me I am only allowed a 4.88 mb upload even after resizing the pic to less than 4mb. After a few days it seemed to work but still a bit hit and miss.
  19. Thanks JG, I got to go sledding the other week as we drove sleds and bikes out of my garage behind the house to higher ground.😃 It never quite reached the garage though.
  20. Another shot of my front lawn slowly being reclaimed, usually I have 25 feet or so of beach beyond the trees.
  21. Water is going down nicely here, but seems like it has been for ever and two floods. Normally the spring flood if we get one lasts only 3-4 days. The plywood flood panel covers My basement door and is gasketed. You can see the water marks for this year are about 2.5 feet up the panel and there are two steps down to the basement floor inside. Basement stayed bone dry and the humidity was 52% down there.
  22. I'd say for July most of us are suffering Parked Motoneige Syndrome and don't want to talk about it.
  23. I saw this on the news. It appears sadly that they drove across a flooded road and the current swept the car off the road into the river. I understand at this Tim they have found the man but not the kid.
