  1. I'll be in the Destintation Snowmobile booth. They usually group all the Quebec exhibitors together along the back wall.
  2. Hi Blake I'll be there. Stop by and say hello Bill
  3. The moral to this is "Do one thing at a time, NO MULTITASKING. Aso I tell people "I am a simple s**the, I am can only do one thing at a time".
  4. Long hair would win if she was the flag girl. You would be to busy looking at her that you wouldn't see the green flag wave.
  5. Yes it is suppose to be Lab City. According to the trains web site. 1. Passenger train does not go to Lab City. 2. Passenger train goes from Sept Iles to Schefferville Monday and Thursday and from Schefferville to Sept Iles Tuesday and Friday. 3. Train will drop you off in Emeril Jct, about 60 miles east of Lab City. Long walk to Lab City because of #4. 4. Freight train leaves Sept Iles on Tuesday for Lab City.
  6. I might be able to arrange that. I have connections in the Saguenay.
  7. Last year I inquired about the train to Schefferville. The train that runs to Schefferville is passenger train only. No baggage car. They told me I could rent a freight car, at $800 but it only goes to Lac City. Passenger train goes up Monday and freight runs on Tuesday.
  8. Hi Don I'll be following along. Want to see the race between Long Hair and 182. Will it be a drag, oval, road course or one like Aaron and Fram Truck had? If you need a flag man I can handle that. Bill
  9. Going to see Danny Doo this Sunday. He and Collette are bring their boat up to the Delta on Sunday. We are also arriving Sunday. I'm sure they have been fishing alot this summer.
  10. I rode 4,000 miles with a couple, last year, with a couple last year who both have 900 ACE's and me with my 600 ACE. When we filled up all three sleds took the same amount of gas. I was amazed and had always thought the 600 ACE would get better mileage than the 900. Shows you how much I know.
  11. Hi Joe Getting a 2018 Blizzard 900 ACE
  12. Hi Jack What you gettin this year? Bill
  13. When I was managing Citrus ( Orange Plants) in Florida back in the late 60o's early 70's we used these to unload the semis full of oranges, 500 boxes of oranges, 50,000 lbs, per semi. We had 3 of them so there was never any lag. When the first one went empty there would be 10 second break and then the second one started and so on. 10 minutes per load. Oranges went into holding bins, each bin held a load. From the bins they went thru a wash, another grading station and on to the extractors. Each extractor could squeeze 700 oranges per minuted. Lord only knows how many now.
  14. Thank you very much for all the Birthday wishes.
  15. Thank you all so much for the Birthday wishes. 79 years ago my father's car had a flat tire on it, before my mom and dad left for hsospital which was 18 miles away. The local butcher changed the tire for my dad as he was getting my mom ready to go to the hospital. Got this tidbit from my sister today. Course I had heard it many times before while growing up, from the butcher, especially when he had a few. Nothing like growing up in a small town back in the 40's and 50's.
  16. Hey there JG. Have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Wish I was there to have some rouge wih you.
  17. Hi Ike

  18. Hi RR In past years the fishing huts must be off the ice by March 15. Then they start breaking up the ice with the ice breaker. Bill
  19. Met a fellow from Prinoth this evsning, he is going to a groomer demo at Waterville Valley, NH. He told me 2 guys were stranded in their car near Montmagny during the storm and they had died from carbon monoxide.
  20. After I totaled my sled in mid January I went to Spence to look at a replacement. When looking at what they had, all I saw was mountain sleds, They told me that is mostly what they sell. Went up the road to DRC in Alma and all they had were trail sleds. They said their customer base were trail riders and sell very few mountain sleds. One day we had stopped at Relais du Lac in Labreque, this area has lots of blueberry fields and they are marked about staying on the trail and the signs say they are blueberry fields. We had noticed snowmobile tracks in the fields that were clearly marked. There were 5 older guys sitting at a table near us so Danny Doo asked them about the tracks in the fields. They told him that they were patrolling the area in the past couple of days trying to catch the riders who were doing it. They said there findings were that it is being done at night. They were going to change the time they patrol. I have only gone to Mont Valin, past the ski hill on 93, 4 times in the past 2 years because of these mountain sleds and what they do to a trail. It's a real shame.
  21. Hi Ken Thank you for the kind word. Bill
