  1. Wow, I was just at Esso a few weeks back. Damn. Well restaurant at Hotel Chiboug is great. Too bad for the resto at Nordic that is not good.
  2. Not as good as these........ http://www.google.ca/imgres?q=canadian+100+dollar+bill&client=safari&sa=X&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbnid=ClrwjSYBdt6rCM:&imgrefurl=http://www.marshu.com/articles/prime-ministers-on-canadian-money-paper-bills-currency-coins-of-canada.php&docid=Bz_JcfQce6tA-M&imgurl=http://www.marshu.com/articles/images-website/articles/prime-ministers-on-canadian-money-bills/canadian-paper-bills.jpg&w=1000&h=683&ei=s9b3UpOqOYnEyQHPrYDgBA&zoom=1
  3. "When I was at the Nordic the restaurant was closed. That was the last week of January" Is it closed for good? Did you ask? Or was it temporary?
  4. I like your helmet Jim. Sexy. Do you wear it at the Ballet?Snowman you need one like his.
  5. Lets take a vote to see just how many. Ballet with Poles? Ballet without? Guys please have your wives answer honestly, as to not influence the results.
  6. I think Nordic is the easiest to get to and probably the best choice. i have stayed at both Nordic and Hotel Chiboug. Hotel is OK but not as easy to access. I looked at the Gite site and read about it. They offer breakfast but not seeing anything about Dinner. Does look nice. Nordic is clean and has a good restaurant right in it. Gas right next to it and the garage as mentioned by Jackstraw. Not sure if the wives will care to go to the entertainment across the street. Might want to leave that out of the details but that is up to you.
  7. PM and everything seems fixed today. I was able to delete my old attachments and free up space to do Pics. Yesterday it was not letting me. All good now, Thanks so much.
  8. more.................

Bill or one of the Administrators can you find out what is the major malfunction here? Webmaster Rob? kind of hard to try and contribute and post photos when it won't allow it. frustrating to say the least. I was trying to send this by personal message but that aint happening. S.O.S.

  11. Bonus ride today From the house over to St. Ubalde had a great pizza and returned home 120 miles. Looking good out there. Home just in time for the weekend rush to start. Perfect. Boys are southbound. Thanks for a great week Playhard and BillD. Thanks for delivering my ride to Moto Thibault (spa for sleds) for her massage and checkup. She will be serviced and ready by monday afternoon. Next week where to? Hmmm decisions, decisions?????
  12. Back at the house. Wed we rode from Forestville to Baie St. Paul with a bonus ride on the Isle de Courdes. Very cool. Trails were excellent the entire day the 377 up into Baie St. Paul was a bit roughed up right toward the end. 263 miles Thurs was down 3 to trail 300 which we found un marked and ungroomed but took it anyway to Isle d'Orleans after negotiating the ice crossing following the other tracks(no sticks) some little trees in some places. We were rewarded with and awesome loop around the island groomed to perfection. Big thanks to Markusvt for the heads up. (I owe you one buddy) tgen back thru Qc city on 3 then 302 to 351 back to 3 to the house. 267 miles. I will post some pics tmmrw. 1560 miles for the 6 day run.
  13. Say no to lights. Useless as a hand signal.
  14. He was in a "Zone". Hey, he is keeping right at least.
  15. Just like Modified Exhaust is Illegal, so should be anything over 1.5" track lug on the trails. Off trail is for off trail not for tearing up trails that cost money to suface and Maintain.
  16. Ran from Sept Isles to Forestville today. 298 miles. Sweet conditions and i do believe the Godbout to Baie Comeau is more fun headed west. Trails were super and weather just fine. Not sure exactly where to for tomorrow maybe Baie St. Paul. Sled is Dialed in nicely and life is good. Great trails with good friends.
  17. They report zero signs or trail markings(that does not bother me) but the condition of trail was totally rough and they said they beat themselves to get partway to Havre St. Pierre then pulled the plug not sure how far from Sept Isles but they hired a truck to take them back to Sept Isles. Poor or more like no Grooming. It shows red on trail conditions. I want to go but not into torture just to say I was there.
  18. The sign should be here at Sept Isles. Just got Intel from a group who rode to Havre St Pierre then it was so bad to get there they took a trailer back to Sept Isles cause they would not ride it back. Decisions made back to the west. Havre St. Pierre and beyond remains out of reach. Oh well a good reason to come back again.
  19. I will let you know when I find out.
  20. WOW Super day. The Twisty up and Down from Baie Comeau is just a fun way to warm up for the reward that follows in the form of superb trail all the way to Sept Isles. Surely some of the best trail in the Province and we had it at its best. Great run today from Baie Comeau to Sept Isles. Just ovef 200 miles. (not sure exactly). But wicked awesome conditions and super fast trails. Can not post pics but will when I return home.
