  1. It's a small world...... Should be interesting...Let's hope Marie-Christine can get Dad to play ball and work this situation out. Can't hurt to try.
  2. I heard they will open a relais and serve kool aid to sledders. Maybe the Rouge Mattawin. Since it's available.
  3. My feeling is it will be worked out. That's a lot of money to deny the hotels restaurants sled dealers and everyone else involved in sledding up here, I do believe they will settle it but when is the question. I will buy my passes early. Just because I am keeping the faith. A winter without these trails is hard to imagine for me. I think it would result in a mental breakdown for me. I need my motoneige.
  4. I hear ya on the waiting for buying the trail pass. Let's face it yeah saving $60 is great but paying $240 and then they do not work things out means a loss of $240. I mean let's be realistic here if $60 is too much more to pay maybe snowmobiling is not the sport for you. It can be an expensive addiction. Hi I'm Don my drug of choice is snowmobiling. Welcome to the group.
  5. Good one Gary. Too funny. Come on let's all show some love for the farmers. Maybe take up a collection for them so they can let us pass?
  6. Most areas are involved. There are exceptions. Charlevoix, center of Quebec, and south of the River I think Chaudiere Applaches. Not 100% on the last area but the first two for sure. These areas are not involved in the blockade not sure why. Regardless it's bad news.
  7. Nothing new that I have heard. Will probably be settled only after snow is on the ground. Let's hope not. Who knows.
  8. I think the short bus broke down. Then they took to the woods. But they should be supervised.
  9. Lmfao the world is full of crazy bastards. Me I cry like that come April when things are all melty. I like to sit in the mud and scream for the snow to come back and stay a little longer. I apologize to all the snowflakes for ripping them all up. You should try it. Good therapy for sure.
  10. Looking good groomer. Always nice to see some early snow.
  11. Sounds interesting, I like it.
  12. The Mauricie farmers joined the blockade for the quad and snowmobile trails for the upcoming winter season. Let us all hope they settle this. What good is buying the pass early and then they don't work things out?? It is sad that this is the only way to get the gov't to talk to the farmers. It has worked before for them (farmers) so they got to play their hand I guess. We shall see
  13. Transports Quebec for the web cam select Sagenuay region then l'etape camera There is also cameras for Trois Rivere, Montreal and Quebec city areas, so you can see for yourself when it is snowing if you care to.
  14. Well said shane. Is true I DO NOT by any means believe everyone at night riding is drinking. I just want all the trails we have now to stay open and hopefully we will gain some new ones. We need to respect the land owners period. Without them there is no real trail system.
  15. Big fire at the Sports Drc in Alma. They are the Bombardier dealer there. It's burned up big time. www.ZONE911.com check it.
  16. Easy there 800steve Stupid was the riding on the fields and pissing off land owners resulting in no trail. I have had lots of late nights either because all went wrong that could OR all went awesome and there was no stopping. It is dark real early in winter remember? You can still night ride in your less traffic on the "better trails" and do it all day too. I did not say riding at night meant all were drinking. I think it's only fair to respect the land owners and the nearby homeowners. If everyone had stock exhaust and no stupid pipes we wouldn't need to be discussing any of this I think the 10 pm weekdays and 11 pm weekends is reasonable. Better then no trail through at all. Many take the trails as a given thing any time that can change. Would it be crazy yes the money sleds bring is big. But times they are changing and we need to change as snowmobilers to work to keep all the trails we can open. If it means trying to be in by 10 or 11 pm (shit happens sometimes yes) it's better then losing trails
  17. I got no problem with this. No need to ride after 10 or 11 pm. If you need it to be dark you probably are those who use the whole trail even in the daytime. Learn to ride on one side (your own please) should be no drinking and riding period. I know it's done but it's a quick way to die or kill me thanks Simple solution if you don't like it do not buy a pass and do not come to quebec. Go ride Old Forge or somewhere. Bad enough no one can stay on the trail and we are losing land use because guys need to play in powder on the farmers field now the same idiots will be out pissing off people at night. Can't fix stupid.
  18. That is great I have missed that trail. Let it snow.
  19. I do not think dooright cares if the cell works. I think it was just to show what is the only means to call from there with the phone booth pic. We don't need no stinkin cell phones. Sat phone yes please.
  20. Exactly right Timbo this could be A major issue. I agree with you 100% Time will tell. Watch there will be feet of snow and no access, just great. Hope they work it out. We are hostages. Is bullshit for real.
  21. Sure hope this does not come to be reality. Could make real it tough to ride anywhere from anywhere.
  22. Looks good 182ray Nice placement for sure. Once you ride with a gps there is no riding without one.
