  1. Soon time for another oil filter and your first valve job
  2. How many are in your group? If the group is fairly small (4 or less) and your group likes to make some time I think you will be fine. I f you are looking to stop often to take in the views a couple of those days will get long
  3. If they put it where it was in the past it is on the Relay 22 side of the bridge. If you are heading from Roberval toward Relay 22 and you can picture the spot in the trail where you start to double back to get to the bridge it is there that you used to go straight and come down to the river
  4. Saw it on Quebec Riders Facebook page
  5. I saw a report on Facebook about a theft last night at the Sag, just a heads up
  6. I always keep that area well greased, it can make for a messy pant leg if you don't take the receiver out your tow vehicle so use caution
  7. Nice report Alain, looking good up there. Ferrarif40, my wife has some heated gear that she has been using for about 3 seasons. Pants, jacket, socks and gloves. She wears it as a mid layer and everything links together and is controlled by a rheostat knob I mounted on the handlebars. It is made by First Gear if I can I will find a link
  8. I agree the Klim is way overpriced for what it is. Would probably be great for mountain riding but not warm enough for Quebec without all kinds of expensive layering or a heated mid layer. I have Yamaha Branded bibs and jacket and they are great but if you are not a Yamaha rider they also carry the exact same stuff branded Snoforce and it is of equal quality. If you are not looking to advertise for someone they are a nice choice as the branding is small
  9. Lol what Alain said he is the master of this area. I only wondered where you were staying because if you stay at Le Cabanon, Denis is a wealth of knowledge as far as problems/ issues or what has been groomed. They run something like 4 groomers out of there and he can give you up to date info and tell you where to ride and where to stay away from
  10. How many miles you want to ride each day? My guess is it will be busy when you are there not many places are fully opened up so it will be full there. This area gets a bad rap for this reason alone it gets mobbed early in the season and the trails get hammered then the snow gets beat into something with the consistency of styrofoam beads and the grooming lasts for about 5 sled passes. All that being said the further you venture from SMDS the better the trails will be. Go North make the trip to Kanawata, Go to Riviere Mattawin and come back by the M20. The key will be get up and get going early to beat the rush
  11. I bet there were some Tabernack's thrown at this one!
  12. Not Quebec, but my 9 year old got to warm up the 300 Twin Enticer
  13. Where is he from? Go to the federal courthouse in Philadelphia he can get it renewed there same day
  14. I agree, although I assume you mean the Tamarack as Tabernack has a whole different meaning LOL
  15. Rode that trail already and actually got some good pics of a wolf that was running down the trail and wouldn't get off. Posted them on here at the time but not sure what I ever did with them pics
  16. A lot of times especially later in winter you can cross the ice from Cambellton to PALC
  17. Before they built that bridge you always had to cross the ice upstream a little ways. In my experience till they get the trail in shape the river was ready. Don't get me wrong though I would rather have a bridge lol
  18. Hit it like it owes you money Ice
  19. so is there actually some kind of trail from Goose Bay to Churchill Falls. It looks grown up but I just wondered. When we did the TLH this summer on the bikes I do remember seeing some snowmobile crossing signs
  20. Yes you are definitely more in control going down the trail at 75 mph standing up. Said no one ever lol. Hey to each his own but if you are more comfortable and feel more in control standing up 60% of the time on the trails in Quebec than I am sorry but there is something wrong with your sled
  21. Watch out for the polar bears!
  22. Lol I prefer paved trails sitting down. Seriously though I do wonder when I see a group go by in the opposite direction all standing up on a perfectly groomed trail.... Is the seat too hard or what?
