Seems as though anywhere there is lots of money, usually public money, resistance to what is and is not yours melts away. Funny how politicians earning 150 k a year seem to be able to turn it quickly into 10's of millions, far better than Morgan Stanley has done for me and I am earning considerably more. I have seen this even down at the state level, right here in Berkshire County, even know some of these crooks from grade school in a small town.This has become standard behavior for life long politicians....public officials and corruption go hand in hand theses days, really horrible situation for those playing by the rules and being judged by others as part of the gang. there is an old saying ...where ever there is money, there is always somebody trying to steal it.As far as getting a little tougher at the border checking things, no problem with that, when the job is done right we are all safer. I think you would have to be a bit naive to believe that most everyone in a position of public power has not at the very least, bent the rules to favor themselves, it has gotten so bad that the only real way to stop it is term limits. In the private sector the only ones truly close are lobbyist.

Storm is behind us here in Mass, 55 at 6 pm yesterday....snow over night and 15 f this morning....all of the 2 feet we got 6 days ago is gone.....great ice to do some skating!!

535 people in Congress.....and only 1 person in all of Washington with the courage and fortitude to stand up for what is right and tell us the truth....what the congress tried to put in this bill...when our citizens and countrymen are lined up at food pantries all across the nation...with many out of work...and unemployment benefits running out....is beyond disgraceful....even worse this is with tax payer money....do you really want these people running our country??? Most out going presidents would be doing nothing right now....I know Donald has not always been impressive with what he tweets or says...but this time around.....I AM DAMN PROUD OF WHAT HE IS DOING!!

Ever hear a politician stand up and say I am going to unleash business and build a robust economy where anyone who wants a job can find one and work each day to support their family and chart their own course....that is where we just were....and now we have a new administration coming ...to fix that great economy where more people found that job than any time in the past 50 years....by offering free everything and debt relief...I don't get it...but I do know one thing.....HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!

Yes, they have no proof , even a little bit , one way or the other, if you can or cannot spread the virus after getting the vaccine. My guess is if it lives on a metal surface for days and you have the vaccine and someone touches the door handle with the virus on their hand, and then you touch it and then go open your friends car door, it is now on that door handle, the a non vaccinated person opens the door and then touches their face or eats a sandwich, they probably now have it.

Exactly what my doctor friend said...you will be safe but still able to infect others...we are a ways away from getting rid of our masks....going to need 80% of people vaccinated before that happens...but we will ride next season, it is going to be a hell of a party in 2022 ,better book in advance!!

The sleds is a big gamble here, tug hill and Maine are going to be bumper to bumper....no thanks....just going to wait out the vaccine and get back to your neighborhood....it is going to be a long winter...but going back to Quebec....it is going to be like going home...it will be sweet....really going to miss all the great camaraderie out on the trail !!

Nice to see that, it is a very depressing 60 degrees here in Mass today, no vaccine for us until maybe March, so probably no riding this year, that will be a first since 1966, I may rip around the mountain here in the Berkshires, but it is very hard to call it riding!!

Done that and almost died to see 20 dollars a call on my bill back in Ma, per call, then started using the card and spending 1 dollar per call, enormous difference, but once you start a card, you have a year to use it, so do not make 1 call and put it in your wallet for next year, it will expire.
