  1. True. I should have said, corporate Amercia as well as the Gov. Everything is being made in China even all the Ski-Doo clothing now just to mention one thing. Not to bash Ski-Doo, because to me they are #1 but, the quality of the stuff is not as good as is was a few years back. If China is so much cheaper why is the prices of everything still going up. (because the market can get it, as long as we all keep on buying) Before we know it, all the sled's will be made in China, and the big 4 will layoff most of there workforce and the prices will still go up. Thanks GB again.
  2. He had himself a 4 stroke, and was very proud of it!
  3. all common sense. Someone told me a long time ago, if someone is comming around a corner or flying past you on a straightway with one hand on the bar, the only thing they are telling me is that they are out of control...
  4. Well that's all good infomation Another question. is there enough places to stay out that way where you could play it by ear and book a room in the morning before headed out or doo they all book up way in advance? Bumps, what bumps? I don't see no bumps, the trails look dam smooth.
  5. I don't buy the idea at all, common sense and trail edickit (spelling) is more then enough. All clear? I don't think so. end of that group of sleds only. I can see it now, people will see the green light thinking the whole trail is wide open for them selfs.
  6. I have a question for you Groomer or anyone who can answer. It seems like most people (From the states) doo the Gaspe trip more in March then earlier in the season?. If this is a true statement? is it doo to temps being to cold in Jan and Feb or is the snow conditions best in March? OR none of the above?. Edit: or is it, ride where you can early while there is snow, and save the Gaspe for the season ender.
  7. I will let you know 24 hours in advance. So make an extra pot of coffee, that way you can work a double shift to make sure the trails are smoooooooooth. lol
  8. I think in todays world, all goverments just want to suck our pockets dry. They want us to go to work, stay home and give them all our hard earned cash, Thanks GB!
  9. Well it sounds like you realy enjoy dooing it, and you make the best of it (By taking some great pictures) and sharing them with all the snowmobilers. Hopfully I will get out that way this comming season? my plan is to ride in Quebec as much as possible this season.
  10. That's a full time job for one person to groom keep up the good work on the trails.
  11. Groomer, how many miles of trails doo you groom?
  12. Thanks for the heads up Bill. Must cheaper just to make sure you reg in the states, and a lot less BS to deal with on the trails.
  13. Not time to smile, but to change your shorts. lol 8 more feet and you would have not been happy for the moose to be there either!
  14. I bet that made you feel born again ay Rob, that was good.. H.B. Timbo!
  15. Shoot it with your camera, there ya go! for the people who hunt for the Food, fine, but just to hang there head on the wall? to each his own. I have seen more Moose in the past few years than I have seen in my whole life. Adrenelin rush, Oh yeah. they look mello, and somewhat lazy when you see them on the side of the road, but when they decide to move, Watch out!
  16. As always Groomer, great pic's. You must have a good time out there taking the pictures. I am not a hunter, sorry to here he got blown away after letting you get some great pictures of him. But that's life!
  17. Interesting stuff, I can understand both sides, unfair? yes but! lets say they allowed it, and everyone starts buying sleds from the states. What happens to all the dealers north of the border? do they start to loose enough to where they say screw it and close there doors. Then when we have a breakdown in Canada, will there be parts available. This is looking at it from that point of view, and there are many ways the subject can be debated. somethings gotta give... Not to change the subject because there is a thread on it already but, I read the other day that some are saying the US dollar is still over valued and the Cad dollar is under valued.
  18. Its great to see that some of you hotel owners have been stepping up to the plate and looking out for the best interest of your customers.
  19. Has anyone ever tried the Nitrogen fill in your tires? I was thinking of having my trailer tires done, and I have been thinking about having my truck done also. They say it's safer, Tire failures reduced by 50% thread life increased 25% Improved steering and handling. And whatever presure you put in them it stays at that, no matter how hot or cold the tire gets. I thought it would be good on trailer tires since the trailer sits a lot of the time. A dealer near me wants 30 bucks to doo the truck. Also they say you can save 100.00 a year in tire and fuel cost???????
  20. He had them since the begining of Oct, I bought the 1st two from him. Now all we need is some cold temps and lots of the white gold and where good to go.
  21. It was pretty secure less the camera's, now it will be like fort knox.
  22. It's a little busy, but there should be no problem getting a room at the last minute.
  23. I stayed at the HI Christmas week for a few days last season and had to trailer up to Valin's. Its about a 45 min ride each way. This season me and the wife will be headed up again, I am hoping that we can unload in Sawinagin and ride to Valins? Back in 04/05 season the snow and ice conditions was good for that, if not we will drive to the HI again. As for Bill, he goes up after New Years even if there is snow sooner, that is what he told me. So lets get the snow dances going pretty soon. Also I had requested maps online and have not recieved them yet, (Don't know why?) They was not at the NH grass drags this season, that is where I have got them in the past.
