  1. The idea is to never grow up, and yes we will adopt you 😜
  2. Very nice trails both ways all the way from Mattawin to Casey. Casey to the 83 junction bumpy every time we have been on it this year. 83 good at least until the Gouin turn off. Buddies we met up with confirmed 10 miles either side of parent still terrible as it was a week earlier. We ended up in La Dore for lunch one day. Restaurant closed for the day, no servers. Very low snow compared to other places. A few warm days they will be starting all over again.
  3. Gas station has hot pizza and a deli and places to sit. No worries on going hungry 🙃
  4. Found an otter trail but no one home 🙂
  5. Everyone has a GPS and we have local contacts in lots of places to confirm ice and conditions 🙂
  6. A fun couple of days so far 😀 All fresh groomed from Mattawin to Repos. Pretty good from Repos to Kanawata though we did most of it in the bush. Kanawata to Parent a bit bumpy they Awesome to Gouin. Spent the day going to La Dore for lunch and back 😜

  8. I like me a heated garage. I grabbed the english version for those of weaker in French 😁
  9. ~85 miles I think from Kanawata to Parent, no worries with any modern sled.
  10. No gas, no plans for gas, (too many government regulations to get around for now). Raphael is running it, very good english and very friendly. StarLink internet, so very, very fast, no issues. His pricing is overly fair I think, and based on how many in a room. - single occupation $145.00/night/person - double occupancy $130.00/night/person - triple occupancy $125.00/night/person
  11. Johnny is only grooming the western entrance this year, it is clearly marked. You will have no trouble driving right to his doorstep 😀 Woodrunner trails all groomed many times so far, (13,33 and 53). Clova to Fer a Cheval has been groomed. Lepine road very unlikely to be groomed this year, but you never know if the mood strikes them 😃
  12. Place is actively for sale. Met a QC snowmobiler and his riding buddy going to talk to the owner about it Yesterday.
  13. Extremely capable sled with an amazing suspension. For me I need the 2” track, maybe could make do with some of the 1.75”, but 1.6” and under does not work well for me.
  14. Best trails this trip Weymetaci on the 83 to Casey turn off and the first 40 miles out of 100 Lacs towards Maniwan. Worst was the 7 miles either side of Parent.
  15. Raplael said Norm still hangs out in town now and again at his camp. He also told us Casey had 2 year round residents but 1 died last year and the other stopped staying all year.
  16. Yup, another beautiful day. Traffic picking up a bit but we will be long gone by the weekend. Reroutes here and there but generally well marked. Evidence of all the hard work to get trees cleared and trails opened.
  17. Saddle up, Quebec open for business 😜
  18. A few years ago another restaurant gave it a whirl, he did not make it. The gas station as said is really a big everything store, plenty to eat in there no problem at all.
  19. How much snow is on the ground there, hard to tell?
