  2. Hey guys thanks again for your great input last time it was spot on. So I wanted to check and see how things are now. I will be headed back up on Friday and want to know what it looks like. We would like to run 73 to 355 to 83 thru lac edward up to Jonquiere and then take 23 back. Has anyone rode this recently? Anything to watch out for? How is the warm weather affecting the conditions? It has been bad for northern NY. Thanks Bob

  13. Groomer Thanks for the great pictures and all your posts. We enjoy reading them. Well another season and hopefully this is the one where I get to make the trip around Gaspe. Any word on how the trails are on other parts of the Peninsula? Thanks Bob
  14. Hey Bill How was your summer? As soon as you get settled in we are looking for any news on if we can make the trip from St. Raymond up to the HI. I keep getting conflicting reports and have had to turn back early season in years past. Trying to get wiser in my old age! Any news you hear is greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy trails Bob "Snow Seeker"
  15. Hey Bill, Congrats again on the 20k mark who says these ski-booms don't last right! Anyway we made it back to St. Ray on Monday. Based on your ride report looks like we hit a lot of the same. 23 to L'estape had snow but was bumpy. The last 10 miles into St Raymond was terrible its down to dirt. Anyone that is still thinking of making this trip better have wheels not skis! Looks like our season ended way to early this year. Have a safe trip home and hope to see you next year at the HI. All the best Bob
  16. Thanks Bill... I will talk it over with the guys and see we were headed in from St. Ray up 355 coming in to Jonquiere from the west. Hoping to hit Mt. Valin area this weekend.
  17. When you get back let us know how the riding was I would be really interested in what route you are taking as we are headed up first week of March. Thanks
  18. Groomer... as always great pictures..... no contest you ahve it in the bag! Anyway we are gettting ready for our trip to the Great Gaspe and I just was wondering if you have any reports from the guys riding how the trip around the Peninsula is looking? If its still bad what would you guys suggest for a 4-5 day adventure (average 200 miles a day). I appreciate it and we are looking forward to our first trip to Gaspe this weekend we will be in Quebec visiting the Mont Valin area. Thanks Bob
  19. Bill, We are headed up your way on Saturday... should be a big group this time we are brining 3 newbies (They usually head to Maine) up north to introduce them to some real riding. Anyway Just wondering how the new trail up to Mont Valin is? I saw some really nice pictures from there in January but nothing since. Happy trails Bob
  20. I have over 3800 miles on my 1200 and no overheating issues.
  21. Groomer, Thanks for the info. Once I have set dates for the trip I will let you know. I am thinking that the first week of March might be the time. I want to wait for snow on the shore side so we can do the loop around the outside. Thanks Bob
  22. Hey the trails are looking great. I have never road this area and we are looking at taking a trip this year. Any suggestions for routes around the Peninsula and the best timing? The pictures are great. Thanks Bob
  23. Thanks for the Update Bill. Tell the guys at Scooby's that we said Hi. The 1200 is still going well 3600 miles and counting. No problems since that gas freeze up with you and Mike last year. See you in a few weeks. Bob
  24. Hey Bill, Looks like we were up that way a few weeks to early for you. Have you heard if 23 is open from Saint Raymond up to L'Estape. We got stuck last trip on our way back from the HI and ahd to re route from L'Estape towards Quebec city as 23 didn't appear to be open the rest of the way. The snow down south isn't so good and around Quebec City area it was SNIRT everywhere! Ride safe and have fun look forward to seeing you on our next trip. Bob Happy trails snow seekers!
