  1. There are almost as many pictures taken here as at the Rock in Perce!!
  2. Yes it was a long ways, BUT I was looking! Here is a stand of mature 80 yr old Black Spruce. (not far from the Circle) Maybe a little scattered, and the cost of trucking it to the mill could be high. LOL
  3. Glad to see you are selling permits again this season Groomer. I hope lots of QuebecRider members support your club.
  4. LOL That was taken 40 miles south of the Arctic Circle in the Yukon. It was taken this past August. Looked like a pile of rocks like in your picture.
  5. I agree 100%, even though it is short only 65 miles. this is likely my favorite trail in all of PQ. :D
  6. Is it close to here??
  7. I had heard at one point, that snowmobilers may have access to another lookout area where this one will be lost to us. Have you heard anything similar to this Bill?
  8. I agree with easyrider 100% You have to do some of the loading and such to learn how it works and where stuff is found on it. They really are not that complicated. I have only had mine one year and will never be without one now. Yes I still have lots to learn on the operation yet.
  9. Groomer has been into the wine again!!! LOL
  10. Murdochville at rush hour.
  11. Here is a pic of my 09 Gade E-TEC
  12. Happy Birthday Rob. I hope you have a great day!
  13. Choko hands down!! For a jacket get the Extreme Touring and the Extreme Cordura pants. Travelled last year in -42 all day and wasn't cold. I have been wearing Choko for over 10 years now, extremely good clothing. The also have excellent base layer clothing.
  14. That is good news for the town. Did the landowner change their mind about letting sleds go through? I would think the gas station there in town would be happy to hear this news. Good work, to those that made it happen!!
  15. I was going to say what I thought they were but couldn't get a good look at them. Now that Groomer says they are for bees, I know what they are for sure. They are not bees, they are leaf cutters. They are used for industrial pollenating on agricultural jobs. I dont think they produce honey and the don't sting. They are used in Nova Sccotia for blueberries.
  16. Happy Birthday Rich, from all your Quebec Rider friends.
  17. The sled was owned by the president of the provincial snowmobile association (PEISA) in PEI. I was at a meeting in the spring with him and he showed me a whole series of pics of the different stages of burning.
  18. Is that the sled at Clova?
  19. Your right on GT Rider!! That was at the border crossing on the Top of the World Highway. A breath taking drive.
  20. You are right on Andy, that was an easy beer to win for you wan't it? LOL I even went here looking for snow!! Care to locate this one Andy? Rich you seem very wise for a man living so far away, I think you have connections somewhere. Could this be her? I did see a little snow in the mountians outside Haines Junction. This was the view from the cabin we stayed in.
  21. That is on the road heading to Inuvik, if that is where the Ice Road Truckers were leaving from. Inuvik is where the ground road stops and the ice roads begin.
  22. I was looking to see if there was any snow in the North yet. Nope there isn't. Took this on August 17th at 10:30pm, it was 14c. I was going to put this in "Where am I" thread but I figured it was too easy LOL Any guesses on where I was along the Circle?
  23. So much for trying to trick you with a picture of the old bridge.
  24. Does anyone recognize this location?
  25. Is that not the very area where Andy's eye wasn't keen??
