Hmm. That is doable on a tank with the 1200 but you can not break any trail or run hard. Guess I should make sure I do that leg with Andyman, he always has extra. The Blue Squadron would use their extra gas before passing the sawmill!!! LOL

    That is just mean-spirited, Steven.

The dim-witted seem to find humour in such tasteless commentary...............

My gut says be prepared to ride from La Dore to Chibougamau with no fuel stop other than what you are carrying! If there isn't something in place by now it isn't going to happen. Just my 2 cents worth.

I fear you are right, Amigo.

This other snowmobiler needed some cash but when he used the ATM, it confiscated his card!!! But he was in great company his "buddy" "loaned" him some cash that's when a Mainer found out what's it like to owe someone from Jersey who's name ends in a vowel...lol

This bank is along a converted rail line in the Mt. Laurier area

Along the linear parc near lac carre?

  4. A mighty fine looking truck!

I've been driving diesel trucks to Quebec for many years. The advice you received above is sound. One comment I would make is "get as close to your power source as you can" ; the shorter the cord the better. I have 25', 50' and 100' drag cords, rated at 15A, 800w, or better. I try to get as close as possible to the outlet and use the shortest cord that will work.

  5. Fantastic Concept! But, fer sure there will be (for us snowmobilers) jumbo "gaps" caused either by the aforementioned metro areas, as well as "restricted areas" like Provincial Parks, linear parks like Petite Train du Nord in situations from Lac Carre to Tremblant, various restrictions on Crown Lands further west, etc, etc.

Hope it turns out well. A few years ago, Andyman, Pud and I rode to lake Superior. I'd surely like to continue on West!!
