  1. Thanks Andy. I will stop in for sure! Any food there? Looking forward to this trip. As mentioned I have a bunch of Quebec rookies with me. Should be interesting!
  2. Hi Groomer We are driving to Pt. A LaCroix tomorrow. I hope to come to your club house Saturday? We are a group of 14 sleds. Not sure if all will be with me? But I will try and be there in the afternoon? As I haven't been there before, any directions would be great. We will be coming from Matane that morning. Cheers
  3. We will be in Pt. LaCroix March 12th. Leaving the next morning for a 3 day run. I will have 15 Gaspsie rookies with me. (Help)! So where do we buy the beer again?? Hope to see JG on the 15th! Cheers
  4. Hi JG I wanted to mention that I hope to be in your area on March 15th. Our plans keep changing and this is why I didn't get you our permit information? WE hope to get passes in Pt. La Croix. WE are now 16 sleds. We leave Pt. La Croix March 13th. Thank you for the offer to get our permits. It has been crazy putting this trip together with so many people! None of these people have ever been to Quebec. All english too. My (very) limited french will be tested. Look out for an all black Ski-Doo looking hard at the groomers looking for you! Thanks again JG! Cheers
  5. Thank you JG! I will need to confirm out dates and then send you my info. Those pictures of yours make me want to come up there right now!! lol Thanks again!
  6. I will be in touch. Please pm me your email address? Thank you
  7. Hey Groomer Looks like about 8 of us for a March run. Looks like we will be leaving from Cross Point? Can I get a weeks pass from you? I would rather get it ahead of time? Thank you
  8. Thanks Groomer I will reach out to you again as we get closer. Cheers
  9. Hello Groomer We will be coming up for a 4 day run in March. We should be 10 sleds. Hope to bring the group by to say hello? Please keep the reports coming in as I enjoy reading them and seeing the pictures! Cheers The Whaler!
  10. Andy I am sorry......you are correct. They are located just at the end of the pond or lake where all the ice fishing is. I am usually traveling in the dark when I get there so pretty easy to get mixed up! My mistake.
  11. Hope to be up that way next Thursday (Feb 7th) and visit with groomer?? Please keep us posted after this weeks weather? Just a quick note about that gas station in Biencourt, it is also a yamaha dealer and they close at 5pm! Trail is not well signed to Moosevalley or at least to the NB boarder. You should be fine however as it is busy? Cheers everyone!
  12. I was back up in this region this past weekend. We did the trip from Clair NB to Rivier Blue then over to St. Louis de Ha ha. Trails were super. We then turned on to the 85 south to Edmunston and met the groomer......no need to mention the conditions!
  13. Anyone have a condition update? We hope to leave today and head to this area. I am sure all is good! Thanks
  14. Where is Slowville? I hope it is way down south!
  15. You shouldn't have any problems coming from Biencourt to Moosevalley. As mentioned, logging roads all groomed and the signage is fair too. I think about 50 miles total? No problem for most sleds to make this trip on one tank. Just remember to fill up at Moosevalley because it is another 58 to Edmunston. Have fun!
  16. I would say that if you took our same trip from Biencourt to St. Rita and to St. Hebert and then to Edmunston it would be about 100 miles. We did it on a gas fill up in Biencourt all the way to the Irving at the NB-Quebec boarder. There are some gas stations along the way as well. These trails from Biencourt need some signs put up! Be careful and ask for directions. Good luck!
  17. It was groomed all the way. The only issue we had was trying to get to Degiles (spelling). Trail was closed and so was the next trail to the north. This is why we needed to go to St. Rita. These trails were less than good. They needed snow. Once you get on Trail#5 or 85 things were great.
  18. I would say less than 50 miles? You won't need gas in between for sure! Hope this helps?
  19. You won't have any issues. RDL is a great place to leave from and is also very popular. Conditionas of Saturday night were super! Just watch the weather and you should be good to go!
  20. Gents Had a great weekend. Left Edmunston and headed to Club du Nord and then on to Moosevalley. Had a great lunch and trails are all good! Then off to Biencourt. Tried to leave to Sqawtech but trail is closed. Had to detour to St. Rita and the to St Hubert and on to Trail 85 to Edmunston. The trans Quesbec trail # 85 was excellent! We met the groomer and is was great....just like riding on cream?! What a super trail! Don't tell anyone..........
  21. You got that right! We always go there for the food and etc...... Hope to go to Biencourt and then to Cabano and back to the quality Inn in Edmunston? If anyone has any information, we sure would appreciate it! Thanks
  22. Thanks Groomer and CS I was starting to wonder if anyone rides in this area any longer?? I think we will try leaving from Edmunston on Friday and go to Moose Valley for sure. I know they are grooming to Biencourt but not sure from there?? I really enjoy the ride to Cabano. Great trail! Maybe more snow this week? Cheers! The "Whaler"
  23. Just thought I would try and get some 2012 conditions? There doesn't seem to be many people on here? I will be in the Edmunston area this coming weekend and thought about dooing a loop through MooseValley to Biencourt and back through Cabano to Edmunston?? Has the snow plied up enough to make this trip? Thanks everyone!
  24. Glad to see and hear that the snow is starting to fall up there. We here in southern NB are still 6 C and raining. Thanks to Groomer who helped me with my Quebec trail pass! Proudly mounted on my sled. Looking at a trip later this week? Maybe northern NB? I guess the next few days will tell us how far we will go?? Cheers everyone!
