neoilburner
I'm a newbie here looking forward to getting up to the Gaspe this season for the first time. My question is regarding permits, I was wondering about the permits for 1-3-7 days. Where can these be purchased? Are they only for a specific date? My problem is that i do snow removal in the winter and alot of times my sledding is whenever then snow isn't falling. I would love to go up there but don't have the luxury of planning ahead. I know in NB we can get our temp. permits at Service NB 6 days a week. Is there that option there, I would be crossing in Campbelton NB so somewhere near there. Hope someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks Edited September 24, 2010 by neoilburner
MrGutz
WOW, Moncton, i was there this summer, nice area! The passes are available almost anywhere in QC. Hotel, Gas Stations, etc.. I think Groomer can get you them if you give him a day or so, if not tell you the local club to contact. Also check http://www.fcmq.qc.ca/ Later Gutz
denisl
Just to add to Gutz's reply, the temporary permits have the dates punched out when you buy them so you won't be able to get those in advance.

Where do you buy the tempory permits? Can you buy them when you get to Quebec or do those have to be ordered ahead of time. Here in NB we can Buy a tempory permit any day as long as Service NB is open.
smclelan
I am sure Groomer will sell you a permit depending on where you would like to start. Should you have trouble lining up with him there is a Yamaha dealer just as you cross into PQ that would have all the different permits available.
