This sounds like it is going to be BLAST!!!

Sorry I can't be their....after being forced into retirement two years ago (@51)...I sold all my toys (Triton V-Noise, 1200 Renegade, 600 Renegade, 1000 Renegade.....I managed to keep my man card though), and bought a toy that I hope will make me some money. And yes I plan on getting back to Paradise (Quebec :) as soon as possible!

I can't wait to see the pics of the gathering, and "her smile"...

Have a safe great time everyone......

Groomer, My Dad still talks about your excellent hospitality taking the time to come a sit down and give us all the trail / places to check out info.

Hi everyone

Just a few questions about the gathering.

Where is the other motel in relation to the original motel? Short ride?

What is the name and contact for that motel? Resturant there or close by?

I am sure this is all answered in these posts......but to many to read all?

Thanks

The Whaler!

Gutz ,

Did you book your hotel rooms for the Winter Gathering week. ?

Not yet, only the Vallon so far.

With people saying that plans change quickly with the weather, I was unsure if I should book anything else.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

Gutz ,

Look into Village Grande Nature Chic-Chocs in Cap-Chat it's a very nice place but you should make a reservation it gets booked up fast :good:

it's a place that has the nicer stuff if that's what you call FOOFY. I stayed there with three of my buddies and we all like it I guess it all depends on what you like. " Just trying to help"

I like Foofiness!

I will try and run it by them, they'll go where-ever my wallet takes them, but feeding two big guys who like steak and pasta can get pricey if the menu is more sophisticated. We stayed at the 4-points in QC a couple years ago and ate at the restraunt, I think his bill was 100+ and he was not full.

I don't need a Grumpy Dannie....

Thanks

Ray and I have spent more Valentine Days together than with our wives.

Hey Mikerider

Just took a good look at the pic.

Is that pic of you and Ray sitting in front of the fireplace at Bal Buzzard?? If so, how did Opal let you get so close to the fire???? :-)

Does it have a Hitch?

I see a lift on the back, you'll be able to put toys right inside.

Later

GutZ

No hitch (at least yet) and yes that lift gate will come in handy for loading.

Thanks for the great idea.......now lets see.....boarder crossing with $100,000 worth of tools and a $3000 sled tied to the back lift gate??????

Hi Timbo,

Yes, that is us at the Buzzard! Probably the best dinner I ever had was there. The grandmother knows how to cook. Not even sure what the food was, but out of this world.
